It was my Boyfriend's birthday and what does he want! A Strawberry/Rhubarb pie! Ever try to find that in Denver. Well this was one of the best I've ever had. Wish I had the skills to make one but we all have our things right! LOL. Thank you so much for getting this done and making one of the best pies I have ever had. Honestly can't wait to try more!

I thought I liked pies before Anecdote, but now I’m in love with pies! The first I pie I ordered was the mixberry one. It was flavorful, with a generous blend of berries and had a great contrast in texture with the streusel topping. The decoration was also super cute.I enjoyed my first one so much that I ordered two pies for Thanksgiving - Belgian chocolate mousse and apple-orange-cran. The chocolate mouse was fluffy, light, and most importantly, it was not too sweet at all. The apple-orange-cran was a great mix between sweet and tart and like the mixberry one, had a streusel topping, with a tasty texture contrast.

This place is great!! We ordered a chicken pot pie for Christmas Eve and it was wonderful. I called ahead of time because I had some questions, and Emily couldn’t have been nicer. Highly recommend and a great local business to support during these hard times!

During Covid, the only thing I have looked forward to is eating a pie! I bought the mixed berry pie for my birthday in April and proudly ate it in two days! This Thanksgiving I bought the Carmel apple pie in addition to the mixed berry pie. On Thanksgiving, I hid the mixed berry pie in the fridge pretending I only ordered one and now I couldn’t be happier as I sit and eat pie for all three meals this weekend! Thank you!!!!

We ordered Anecdote's gluten-free chicken pot pie and chocolate pecan pies. The owner and chef, Emily was prompt and responsive to emails about the order and baked absolutely delicious dishes! She went above and beyond by even offering to deliver the dishes (in addition to complimentary mini pies) outside of Denver for no charge due to a brief order delay. We were very impressed with both the food quality and service, and will absolutely be eating here again!

Cafe food and the feeling here is better than most. arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. this place has a cool atmosphere. feels similar to a restaurant in philadelphia that i enjoyed visiting.
