When we got there for Sunday night dinner, you can tell they were understaffed. There was a line of four people waiting to pick up their pickup order and it took us about 20 minutes, waiting in line for the hostess to acknowledge us. We finally got a table for the two of us. We ordered a bunch of sushi rolls and a bunch of Nigri. Our waitress joseline did her best but she mentioned she was new and one of the other waitresses called in sick. Anyways, it took us a long time to place our order and even longer to get our food. We also ordered edamame and even that took over 30 minutes to come out. The sushi was just ok. Again not the waitresses fault but everything took a very long time. There are better sushi places to go in Denver so I probably won't be back.

Great food. Great presentation. They were very full and had only one waitress at the time. They did their best! I still would come again.

Sushi is good. Service is great. Parking is plenty. We ordered a few sushi rolls (B1, 29th, Bronco) and Otoro. I ordered the Otoro based on a review. It was buttery and fresh. We opted to sit at the bar and watch the sushi preparation. We're glad Blue Fin is close to home.

Surprising great find. I have tried multiple sushi places and this may become my go-to place. Saw previous reviews that it gets busy at certain times but we went in winter during the work week and good time to go. Very friendly staff from the minute you walk into the door and everyone yells hello and as you walk out as they thank you for coming. Drinks Great variety of sake. I don't know a lot about sake but the wait staff helped me pick. She recommended I start with a hot sake and switch to room temp next time. I really enjoyed it and was dry enough for my taste buds. Rolls We selected 3 rolls to share between 2 people. Just the right amount of food for 2. Would try an appetizer and less rolls next time. Rolls were very good and had nice "kick". 2 of our rolls were topped with jalapenos. Lemon Tree Roll (5 stars), Spicy Girl Roll (5 star), Hawaiian Roll (3 star). Staff So friendly and very busy. Have patience since they treat everyone with kindness and their time. What a great find.

This place has really good lunch specials. They have a special where you can get two or three sushi rolls off their lunch menu for a discounted price. They also have a ramen lunch special which is more than reasonably priced.

We ended up there last night after a birthday party at Flight Club. Everything we had was delicious! It was super slow in the restaurant (I'm guessing due to st. Patty's festivities). Our server was great. We had miso soup, hamachi, unagi, Philly roll, denver roll, catapillar role and it was all yummy!! The only thing I thought was weird was their menu, it felt like I was reading a middle school project. Please get some real laminated menus that you can't pull apart

WOW!! Hands down one of the best sushi bars we have been to! You are in for a treat if you get a sushi platter! All sushi rolls made in house in front of you! For the price and experience you cannot beat it!

Let me start by saying that I’ve had A LOT of sushi in my time, and I know a good and bad roll when I have one. This place continues to be my favorite sushi spot I’ve ever visited and I’m honestly shocked that it’s in Colorado of all places. (Pro tip: the 29th Roll and the Pink Lady are absolutely incredible)

I will start by saying our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food was okay. Portions were small for the price. For our son, we ordered a medium steak with rice,. Unfortunately, the dish was served over mashed potatoes and the steak was smothered by the mash. We requested another steak as my son was unable to eat the steak covered in mash. The second steak was well done and we felt uncomfortable sending back the steak for a second time. We were charged for both steaks ($28 a piece). Our order came with an incorrect roll and we had the correct roll brought to us when we had already finished our meal. We looked forward to trying this restaurant and I’m sad we were disappointed. The meal was $183 before the tip.Side note: The waitress did not charge us for two sprites to make up for the steak mishap.

I have been a BIG Blufin fan since I moved here 4 yrs ago. As a mattrr of fact its the only sushi I would drive from englewood to eat. But last night may have changed my mind. Last night I went to order my usual. Now, Blufin is suppose to open at 4. Yet not a single staff member can be seen in the restaurant. I waited about 5 to 10mins then left. As I was leaving 3 men walked into the Bluefin back door. So my wife and I waited another 20 mins to give them time to get right. I ordered to Cali rolls with shredded crab on top mixed in spicy mayo. They have gotten it right every other time before this and I normally order by phone as I did this time while waiting in the car.. When I got the Cali roll it barely had any crab on top (but I was charged $5) for the extra imitation crab) and drenched, I mean nearly smoothered in mayo that taste like mayo with a dab of spicy instead of spicy mayo. I could barely taste spicy. No one wants to eat sushi with coloered mayo. It was disgusting. Our order came out to over $51 to get this kind of service is Super Super disappointing. Now a days that's too much money to spend for disappointment.
