Avocado Crab Salad is AMAZING! Best in Denver! Large chunks of both on a bed of greens.Ordered to-go, cannot comment on space.

There were three of us dining at Bon Ami Saturday, April 6th, and we arrived to find a close on-the-street parking spot at about 10 minutes before their 5pm opening time for a reservation, that was confirmed by email from Open Table on 4/5/24 at 9:18am, for three at 5pm. As my wife and step-mother went up to the door to see if they were open, they were turned away by Brittney who told them they don't open until 5pm, so they returned to the car to get out of the cold very strong wind. My step-mother has issues with walking, and they had hoped to be seated inside since there was a very strong, cold windstorm going on that was breaking tree branches along our route to Bon Ami Bistro & Creperie. At about 4:55pm as a large group of people arrived, parked and started getting out of their cars, I got out of our car, and went to the door to be the first in line waiting at the door. The Open Sign beside the front door said open, and I didn't touch the door, knowing from several previous visits that they can be very serious gatekeepers and will sometimes open a few minutes after 5pm. As I stood there, the person that denied my co-diners, Brittney, opened the door and said, "It's not locked, you just have to pull it open" as if I couldn't read the large "PULL" sign on the door. I said I was told by the two people I was with that had just been turned away since they tried to enter at 4:53pm, and told the opening time is 5:00pm. I waved to my wife and step-mom and they got out of the car behind the large group. Then I went in and when she asked if we had a reservation, and told her our last name and for three, and she said the server/table that was requested was not available, and the reservation was for two, not three people and that was all that could be seated. When it was our turn my wife got the confirmation email on her phone, and I tried to get Brittney to look at it, but she wouldn't and just said their system was all messed up. The requested table remained empty as we were leaving, and the requested server stopped by several times to chat. Steven, the server for the table we were at was very capable, friendly, and embarrassed at the behavior of Brittney and the way we were treated. We enjoyed all of our previous visits to Bon Ami, and the food was great during this visit, but will not be returning any time soon. Disappointing Greeter service.

Went there for Restaurant week. My first and best French Restaurant for this Denver Native. I highly recommend the French onion soup, mussels with white wine sauce, Beef Broganies, Trout Almonde (sp?) and Creme Brule for dessert. It won't disappoint.

If it was possible to sleep with soup, their French Onion soup would be it. Everything about their French Onion soup was the perfect end to our meal! We started it with Mussels à la Marinère, added Salmon Gravlax, and delicious lemon garlic broccolini! The baguettes were so tasty. Went during happy hour as well and enjoyed 50% a wine bottle. So good. The service was excellent. Not a kid friendly place!

Every dish we've ordered here has been a knock out of the park. The crepes are great. Escargot is great. Lamb is great. Beef bourguignon is great. House red wine is great. The servers are always very attentive, and the ambiance is lovely.Street parking can sometimes be a challenge, but usually it's fine.

Very disappointing brunch experience. While the food was great, the service was beyond sub-par. We ordered a bottle of champagne & the waitress spilled an entire glass onto myself and friend. I completely understand how accidents happened… however nothing was done to remedy the situation. It would have been appreciated if they offered to re-pour the spilled glass, or take a portion of the bottle of our bill... We hardly even received an apology.

Friendly atmosphere. All the food was delicious. Must try the cottage cheese pancakes. Not at all traditional, very light and fluffy, a hint of lemon. Some of the best bottomless mimosas. Savory crepes were the best.

AMAZING crepes! I went for the first time and it is wonderful! I had the stroganoff crepe which was like beef Bourguignon. The meat was so tender. It also has Gruyère cheese in it. My dining companion had the Merise crepe that also had beef tenderloin in it, as well as a peppercorn cream sauce. To die for. We had the lavender cake for dessert which melted in your mouth. In addition they have good wine selection including some house wines for $9 glass/$36 bottle. I am going to come back for a happy hour… bottles of wine are half off. Once the weather warms up they have a very nice patio.Bon appetit!

Loved this place! My friend and I went for brunch and we ordered the ratatouille crepe, crepe florentine, and the croque monsieur for our entrees and we got the creme brûlée to go. It was all delicious, especially the creme brûlée! It is on the pricey side but worth it.

We enjoyed our Denver Restaurant meal. Between the four of us we covered all the choices. Only the onion soup broth was disappointing, but the cheese was good. The ambience is good and the service was excellent. We look forward to returning when the weather is good for trying out the patio.

Beyond all expectations!!! Finally a place with tablecloths and bread service that isn’t pretentious and absurdly overpriced. The mussels were phenomenal (and we had the premiere mussel perfectionist in our party), trout and chicken dishes were excellent. Classic fresh French fare without the American greasy and heavy influences. Service was some of the best in Denver. Certainly our new date night spot!
