Their baked goods, sandwiches and soups are great! Great place to take a quick bite or work for a few hours. Just avoid going right after school as it can get

I used to be a regular at Cake Crumbs, but since it came under new ownership, I've noticed a significant decline in both quality and service. The once warm and inviting atmosphere now feels chaotic. The quality of the baked goods has noticeably decreased, with items tasting stale or flavorless.Additionally, the service has become unreliable. Orders are frequently mixed up, and the staff seems disorganized and overwhelmed. There is a lack of attention to detail, and the overall customer experience has suffered as a result.I hope that the new ownership takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the quality and service at this bakery cafe. Until then, I will sadly be taking my business elsewhere.

I don't know what has happened to Cake Crumb in the last several months but it has gone downhill. Food is frankly depressing, the ambiance lost its charm, and the one thing I would expect from a cake shop to be good is really ... terrible... dry, sad baked goods. They are clearly understaffed and the team there is stressed. It's sad to see this establishment dwindle as it was a go to for years.

Really bad experience and won’t come back. Eggs come out in a square brick obviously coming from a mass baked pan of liquid eggs and on top of that were cold. Nothing is fresh. The breakfast burrito was even worse. Cold in the middle and bacon was under cooked so to me that says they just microwave it and call it good. Pay inflated prices for worse than McDonalds. Go somewhere else.

This place is a Park Hill gem!! Mikey and Elizabeth up front are FABULOUS and always go above and beyond for our family when we come in for our after school treats. They're absolutely flooded with kids and families after school lets out but the customer service has never suffered from it. I've never had a bad experience here and hope to keep coming for many years. Thank you Cake Crumbs keep killing it!

We live in the neighborhood and used to frequent cake crumbs at least once a week. Now it seems they are under new ownership and the only thing that is consistent is the coffee. The pastries and baked goods have all changed, and are frequently dry or bland. The breakfast bowl was a favorite of mine, but the most recent iteration was sloppily prepared - tough potatoes and at least 6-7 hardly cooked cloves of garlic. So sad because we loved this place :(

Ordered my daughters birthday cake, submitted my request online with an image my daughter provided and they did a fantastic job. Ordering from a bakery I've never visited was scary, but I'm happy I chose this bakery. The cake was delicious and my daughter love it. Thanks again for the hard work!

It breaks my heart to type this but this place isn't the same under new ownership. The service is sloppy and almost always wrong- took three tries to get one order correctly. Lunch was almost inedible honesty- sandwiches were something my kid could make and make better. All the desserts in the display looked sloppy. No longer a Park Hill gem.

Ordered a birthday cake for my husband same day, and it came out fantastic - with writing. It was delicious!

I have loved and supported Cake Crumbs Bakery since they first opened. Unfortunately my most recent custom cake experience with them was incredibly underwhelming. With tip, this 6" cake was $80. I've seen better decorating on their grab and go cakes. This was a birthday cake for my daughter and we spent an hour at home trying to make it cute and hide the terrible piping.I am giving two stars for service because I emailed them photos of the cake expressing my disappointment and have heard nothing back. They should be embarassed to have sent this out the door.

It gives me no pleasure writing this review, but unfortunately this establishment has taken a turn for the worst this past year. The service is almost as sad as the food is now. Being a Park Hill resident, this place has been a staple in this community. I am so sad that the staff is unwelcoming and continues to get the orders wrong even when it's an online order that is typed out already. I understand many places are short staffed, but customers are not asked to pay reduced prices for less quality service/food. I really hope this place can turn it around and be what it used to be.
