Went here for a business dinner in a group of six and I was floored by the experience. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is truly exceptional. Our server even marked up a menu to highlight what I could safely eat with my food allergies, which I thought was above and beyond. There seemed to be care put into every aspect of the dining experience. The food was incredible, with highlights being the pork belly bao buns, the tempura asparagus, and the soup dumplings. Absolutely worth the trip for this gem.

** A must visit ** What a lovely lunch! Delicious and great service will never go out of style. Neyar was very welcoming and so knowledgeable about the restaurant, chef and food! Brittney took over as our server. She is truly the sweetest and so darling! Now to the food - WOW! Soup dumplings, cornbread octopus bites and cauliflower is a MUST! Kimchi fried rice was also good. Amazing flavor profiles and checked all the boxes.

We came by for happy hour and the food was delicious! All dishes were delicious except for the calamari. It was undercooked. Friendly service. Street parking.

Small portions for lunch but very good. I guess I'll skip if I'm hungry again.

First time coming here, tried out Happy Hour menu so we could sample a bit more than we might’ve on full price dinner menu. Ordered soup dumplings (both French onion and general Cho),Kaya toast, wagyu beef skewers (our favorite after all was said and done), and calamari. Probably would try the spring rolls over the dumplings (nothing special to rave about, IMO) next time. Sampled three different cocktails, all delicious. Service was outstanding, thank you to Jack and Max and rest of staff. Yes they add an auto tip/surcharge on the bill total, we had no problem with that (and tipped beyond it) since the service and attention was definitely top notch.

Food was not fully cooked, servers were rushing you for your order and did not explain anything on the menu ,they did not refill none of our drinks, silverware was dirty, rude service,I would not recommend this place to anyone, you will be overpaying for everything, basically it’s like saying they hired anybody from the street and let them cook ? never going here again, manager was no where to be found ,he was in the alley smoking a cigarette with coworkers,

This was our favorite dining experience we have had in 9 months in Denver. We went for restaurant week and got to try a variety of dishes. We had two types of soup dumplings, one of which was a fantastic French onion soup.We had excellent Japanese cocktails, the best calamari we have ever had (with calamari steak), Thai brussels sprouts with a fantastic sauce, amazing Indian pork curry, and incredible Malaysian noodles. The noodles were my favorite noodles I have had outside of some great Thai dishes. All of the flavors were best in class for all of the different varieties of cuisine that we enjoyed.Brittany K was our server and she gave us first class service. We will be back often. Cannot recommend enough.Dietary restrictions: I have a tree nut allergy and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to steer us away from the one dish that could have been problematic.

So, I came here for a lunch outing. There was 9 of us. Service was good.If you come here during restaurant week for lunch, prepare to be disappointed. They didn’t have about a third of the menu. I get it. It’s restaurant week, but still, come on…What I liked the most was the scallion flatbread with smoked salmon. Everything else was rather tasteless. The curry egg roll was very strange for me. Odd tasting. The stir-fry.. it was good. Not $26 a plate good though. The portion of actual steak was sooo small. It’s mostly a veggie stir-fry so prepare for that. The pork belly bao buns were so awesome.I’m glad I tried this place, but certainly would never ever come here on my own dime as I simply can’t justify the price for what’s coming out of that kitchen.-it’s pretty funny to see “ChoLon Modern Asian” at the top of the menu and French fries available as a side? lol

The food is fabulous! We love the family-style service. Katie, or the server, did a superb job. This was our second visit and cemented ChoLon as our favorite dining spot in Denver.

Went to Cholon for restaurant week and had a great experience. The menu was diverse and delicious, the service was excellent, and it was a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend the French onion soup dumplings!

Some of the best Asian fusion you can have in Denver. The service is a bit hectic and atmosphere is a bit crowdy during lunch time, but the food absolutely makes it worth

The food was not good. The sorbet was served truly with salt and not almond crumbles. It was honestly one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. The rest of the food was just too much. There was too much going on with all of it except the toast and the French onion dumplings. Those were both ok. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Even the cocktails were pretty bland. I’ve had better meals at places charging under $20 for a meal.

Really disappointed with ChoLon, we were excited to go for Denver Restaurant Week and got the 110$ two person course with two 15$ drinks. It started out okay, the soup dumplings were interesting, but not exactly an improvement on traditional soup dumplings, just a neat twist. The rest of the execution was really bad. The Malaysian noodles we had barely had any noodles and were too oily, the pork vindaloo was dry and the rice was crunchy in an undercooked way, it felt like it had been sitting out for a long time. The restaurant was so packed and loud and it was obvious our server was overworked. The best part of the meal were the donuts at the end, which were nice and fluffy. But overall, incredibly overpriced food, with a 6% kitchen staff charge on top of it. If your prices are going to be high anyway, just raise the prices to pay your staff reasonably.
