Showed up to buy some live Crawfish, but unfortunately they were out that day. So I bought a flash-frozen whole cleaned Cuttlefish instead.I wasn’t sure what the quality was but the man working assured me it would be delicious, and it was. After dethawing it, the cuttlefish was tender, creamy, and had very little “fishy” flavor although I did soak it in buttermilk before cooking it.If you love squid and haven’t tried cuttlefish I’d highly recommend it.
These are some tasty crawdaddy’s, felt like I was back home! I ordered 3 pounds steamed medium spicy and they were ready for pickup when I arrived! Truly delicious! And look at the siZe of these bad boys! That tender meat in the claws is a real delicacy.
