Food was excellent, such great flavor and just the right portions. Service was great and our waiter was entertaining and very accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere was amazing. It was stepping out of the snow and into a little part of the Caribbean.

If you're looking for the best Cuban food in Denver, you've found it! The churrasco steak is perfectly cooked and the house-made chimichurri is to die for. If you like alcoholic drinks they have a killer mojito in a lot of flavors. Be sure to get there when they open at 5, or you're likely to wait 30-90 mins depending on the day!

This place was so much fun, out waitress was a hoot and the rest of the staff was super friendly! We had the catch of the day, which was swordfish, and it tasted fresh and was very well cooked! Wonderful atmosphere

We've eaten at this restaurant twice before, and it was always ok, but never great for the outrageous price. My wife and I are from Miami. We know how much these dishes should cost, no matter WHERE you are eating it. There was an amazing Cuban food establishment in Lakewood called Frijoles Colorado that had authentic Cuban food at a VERY reasonable price. BUT, they didn't survive post-covid, so Cuba Cuba can set whatever prices they want. Obviously, we know almost everything is more expensive at this point, but $27 for Ropa or Vaca Frita? That's an insult and 40% higher than I've EVER paid for those dishes. I might have been fine getting my hometown food fix for that price if the portions were big, but they are not. The empanadas were lightly stuffed, the croquetas were short and the whole experience reeked of cutting corners. Speaking of reeking, the restaurant STUNK of sewage the entire time we were there. It's IMPOSSIBLE that we were the only ones to notice, and construction was happening during our visit the weekend of April 20, 2024. The construction noise was bad enough for us to have to move deeper into the restaurant, but unfortunately, to an area that was sometimes wafting with sewage stink. We wanted desperately to eat and get out of there, but the service was ridiculously slow. There was about 25 minutes between the time we finished our appetizers and were able to actually order our entrees. As a 35 year food service professional I am WELL aware of the cost of goods going up, help being hard to get and other modern hurdles, but this last visit was hard to forget. It should be noted that our server was VERY nice and attentive while he was at our side, but was gone for large stretches. All in all, I can say we probably won't be back. In the 20 years I've lived in Denver, I've come to grips with the fact that I'll never get authentic Cuban food here without getting slammed in the wallet and probably disappointed. But this last vist to Cuba Cuba made it even more depressingly obvious.Never again.

As a Cuban American I am disappointed by this place. If I’m being brutally honest, the food is good but it isn’t THAT good (lacking flavor), the prices they charge are astronomical for it being Cuban food ($90 for two? my abuela is screaming in her grave). The service was fine. The building is adorable. Will I return? No. It is criminal to charge this much for sub-par Cuban food.

Came in pretty late on Sunday and they were happy to seat us and get us food and drinks quickly! Nice cocktails, amazing Cuban food, and great dessert. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Denver.

First time we’ve had Cuban cuisine and it was delicious. Pork was tender according to my dining companion. The mojito and margarita also hit the spot. Only issue is that it’s expensive but sometimes it’s worth it to spoil yourself with fresh authentic food.

If you're feeling homesick, this is the place to go. The puerco asado is delicious, the ropa vieja is as close to my abuelita's, vaca frita was great, white rice and black beans that take you back to childhood days in abuela's kitchen. They have a great drink selection but by far the best mojitos in town. Desserts are a must and don't forget un cafecito to round out the evening. This place gets packed so come right when they open or be prepared to wait.
