Great beer and vibes. We bring our dog there all the time and everyone is always very friendly and respectful of his space. The regulars are a great crowd, like one big family. My second favorite bartender, Kyle, is one of the best in the biz - second only to top dog Cara.

Stopped here as part of a brewery tour. Really enjoyed the selection of beers. There was a really unique beer with pistachio that I’d highly recommend (can’t remember the exact name for it).

Update 4/2023: this is the oldest brewery on Tennyson. They've gone through as many changes as the street, and right now they're at the highest quality and variety of beer they've had in the years I've lived here. It's an excellent brewery, and you'd miss out of you didn't stop by.Previous review: Great hits with few misses. You're likely looking for a higher alcohol, more robust beer when you come here. Don't skip this brewery.

Great craft beers and service

Beers are very unique, which makes you want to try out each one. The place feels like a hidden spot and has arts and board games. I took a star off because the floor was extremely dirty. I don't expect a brewery to be sparkling clean, but then why not?

My very favorite hidden gem! Excellent Belgian style beers, fun experimentals and a super friendly, warm vibe. I have never been here without connecting with the beer tenders or guests over music since it’s close to the Oriental or any of multiple food options because it’s a cool area. You are missing out if you haven’t been here!

Elena is a fantastic bartender! Great beer! Fun little spot to check out!

Great brewery overall for the beer.We had to navigate a super rude bartender last Sunday night (10/16/22). It was my friend's birthday, and the bartender was incredibly short mannered, visibly mad at us for even being customers in her building at all, and astoundingly unhelpful.I don't even necessarily care about great service - just don't make me feel like I'm a nuisance for entering your business 45-50 minutes before you close.I guess they do last call at 7:15pm. Won't ever be back. There are too many great breweries with happy, engaged employees, to return to this one based on the experience we had.
Best Marzen we've had around town. Wife got a set of tasters, all were very good.

Nice little brewery down a back alley, hence the name. Nice sized beer garden. We both had the Hazy Side of the Moon double dry hopped hazy IPA 6.2%. Very decent. I have a small 4oz sample of the Vannilla your Rye barrel aged stout 10.4%. Very good indeed. No complaints

Love this spot! The beers are great and the service is friendly. The other regulars are always up for some funny banter. Overall, it's a chill spot. A little hard to find your first time, but give it a shot. You'll be glad!

Awesome neighborhood bar hidden in … wow you’re good!… the alley, correct ! Low-key vibe. All but a few are gluten reduced beers for you fellow glutards. Can do as small as 5oz pours and/or a flight. Friendly service. That can put anything into a crowler to go too! Will be back soon!!

As a person who loves Belgian beers (especially Tripels), this was the perfect place for me. The place smells of delicious mash, service was friendly, great selection of various styles of beers, and it feels like a cozy/neighborhood brewery.
Great beer and beertender!!
Totally!!
