No longer open to the public, and the business at best is negligent for not advertising it, and at worst purposefully does so to create an exclusive atmosphere. Was hoping to check it out with my partner given the good reviews however, there were many red flags ahead of time. Business website displays a broken instagram link and a message saying space is available to reserve privately, on top of that, on three different occasions no one picked up their phone while they were open. We arrived at the venue to only to be turned away after driving through town to find it’s ONLY available for private events. Host was courteous to apologize and say they would speak to the owner, but ultimately it seemed to serve as a front to steer customers to Machete (owned by the same person, per host) downstairs. Last experience at Machete was disappointing, especially for the price, so we elected to window shop another good bar in the area.

We love Derecho! So delicious. Their jamon iberico and patatas bravas are so tasty and authentic- they bring me back to my days living in Spain. Highly recommend for a tasty meal. You won't be disappointed.

Closed to the public, private events only per a sign in their window. Total shame, I loved their tapas.

Closed with no notice online. Only available for private functions. Disappointed that we traveled there for nothing.

This is officially our new favorite tapas in Denver! I had the best two different mezcal margaritas that I’ve ever had. The plates were very big as tapas go, and everything was delicious. It was very fairly priced given the large portion sizes. I especially recommend the chef’s choice cheese and the garlic trio. Service was the best part of a wonderful experience, and we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful chef, who explained each dish to us and made recommendations. We will absolutely be back.

@derechocherrycreek serves earth conscious dishes and practice sustainability in creating each of them. I noticed Chef Zoy has a lovely story to go with some of her dishes. Ask her about the Red Wine Braised Beef Cheeks. Not only it's sustainable by using all parts of an animal but it's probably my favorite dish! The meat is so tender and loaded with flavor! but wait- there's the Whole Roasted( De-boned) chicken. It exceeded our expections. So flavorful, juicy inside with an occasional crisp outside served in pieces ready for you to pick up and enjoy! The Sea Bass was amazing! Everything was great! I love the Garlic Trio. Is a dipping app. Love garlic? Go for the very garlicky Lebanese Toum. The Baba Ganoush was my second fave. The Hummus is so creamy! Spicy Tuna Tartar with a mild kick and a side of Squid ink tortilla was so fresh! The squid ink doesn't change the taste of the tortilla. It just looks more attractiveDessert: I love their Dark Chocolate Mousse. Creamy! Drinks: We tried a few cocktails by Fernando and Zack behind the bar. White Lotus, Madrid to Manhattan, House Limoncello, Rye of the Tiger, Rapbetry Beret and two unnamed drinks by Fernando ( bartender) . Try Zachs house made Limoncello! Time to go if you haven't been! Absolutely gorgeous n delicious food plus amazing cocktails and great staff! Chef Zo and her staff works so hard to make everybody feel comfortable and their belly filled with good food! Derecho. Why I asked? Because it sits right above @machetetequilatacos. It's sister restaurant.

Absolutely amazing service, and we got to meet the chef who explained some of the dishes to us. We ordered the garlic trio (amazing!!), the meat and cheese plate (big enough for me and my very hungry husband to share), the artichokes (omg, these were to die for) and the sea bass, which was super fresh tasting and really light. We also ordered dessert which was phenomenal as well. We will absolutely be back!Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free options

Had a wonderful dining experience. The chef was fantastic as was all the staff. The chicken was spectacular - perhaps the best in many years. The octopus was also great according to my spouse. The chocolate mousse was a perfect ending - not ur normal ok desert but was dreamy good. They have earned a loyal customer. We will be back!!!

In continuation of our night out, my friend and I stopped in for a drink. It was closer to 9PM on a Thursday, so the restaurant itself was closing up, but the bar was open. Our friend was already there and introduced us to the wide variety of offerings - including their mocktails on special. I opted for the latter and really enjoyed it! Staff was friendly, prices were decent and the mocktail was BOMB. I loved being able to partake in dry January AND spend time at the bar with the variety of options. Cheers to Cherry Creek and new spots to return for food!

Food was perfectly prepared with just enough creativity to make it feel innovative. Staff was very attentive. The ambiance was comfortable with just enough of a fun hip vibe.

This place is outstanding. We started with the garlic trio - hummus plate, which balanced wonderful spice of hummus with a Lebanese Tourn, which was lime-based and finished with baba ghanoush. We licked the bowls clean. Then followed it with their Seabass, which was delicately braised in soy Bok Choy sauce. And we finished our meal with the 'piece-de-resistance' in the whole roasted chicken, featuring a wonderful habanero sauce, but not too hot, just right flavoring. Great service and attention. This is a keeper and worthy of repeat.

Steven is the man when it comes to the wine list and has such a deep knowledge of what to order. Zoe the chef is killing it with new menu items. Just a gem of a spot in CC,

Really great spot for a romantic dinner and tapas. Takes me back to Barcelona! Great service and fun menu. Will be back!
