When at Desert Social, you wouldn’t think you’re along the S. Broadway corridor of Denver. It’s like Marrakesh meets the Mediterranean. Sedona meets the Sahara. The menu is vast and the drinks get a stamp of approval.

Love the atmosphere and the drinks are delicious! My third time here and every time I get tacos at Adelitas and finish here for a night cap. Perfect spot off Broadway.

Just a heads-up about Desert Social’s offerings. Asked “Can you do an espresso martini?” No problem. There’s something on the menu called Adelita’s Espresso de Olla on the menu that is rum-based with coffee liqueur. Drink came out, it was the latter. Asked about it and the waitress said, “Oh I thought you knew.” Asked, again, if they can make an espresso martini. She then goes, “Oh, yeah, actually we can’t. We can add vodka to the coffee liqueur.” No thanks. No refund. Unapologetic.Otherwise, cool vibe. Can be hard to get a seat. Little overpriced but that’s what you’d expect from a trendy cocktail bar in Denver.

Excessively loud (yes I get the psychology behind why bars play music loud). Our group would have ordered more drinks but got sick of yelling and went to another bar instead, doubling the tab we had at Desert Social.Drinks and pricing was on par with the bar/lounges of this caliber.Staffing could have been a bit more engaging but they were also struggling to communicate.

I came here on a Saturday during the day in Summer, right after they first opened and had a very good experience. Good drinks, great vibes. Just came back on a Friday evening in February and had the complete opposite experience. Pretty busy but we found a spot. First round of drinks was great. Then one of use ordered a Tito's and soda, which was cloudy and tasted heavily of sweet and sour. When he asked if they could remake it, they brought the passive aggressive bartender over to who first argued that there was no sweet and sour and then asked if he wanted a slice of lemon or lime. He said just a slice of lemon. They remade it and it was clear as expected, and it was good. Then I ordered my second drink of an aperol spritz. It came out with no bubbles in a rocks glass. So I went to the bar and asked if they could remake it with some Prosecco. I watched the bartender dump some Prosecco into the cup and they brought it back to me. It was pretty bitter so I didn't drink it. We left with 2 and a half full drinks left because we didn't want the drinks or the attitude. Really disappointing experienced, especially considering how great or first one was. Really wanted to welcome a trendy, cool cocktail bar into the neighborhood, but honestly, after all that, I doubt we will be back.

With two delicious and easy snack options, this cocktail bar stands OUT in Denver's usual cocktail scene. With a trendy and aesthetic atmosphere, the cocktails are crafted by some of the most experienced mixologists in the city. The staff is super friendly, and always down to chat and strike up a personable convo! I personally don't drink a lot, but when my friends want to go out, this is a great spot because of their mocktail/NA menu. Truly some of the best NA beverages on Broadway. The patio is such a vibe, especially in warm weather and DJ's on Saturday nights really elevate the space. Desert Social is family owned in affiliation with Adalita's and La Dona, so definitely give them a peek too!

This bar provided the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. If you don’t have friends here, don’t waste your time because you’re not worth it to them. Aesthetically, it’s nice, and that’s as much as you’ll get.Walked in when it was not busy and approached the bar. First bartender makes eye contact, immediately looks away and ignores us. Second bartender sees me wave to him and waves back, to continue his conversation with the staff. Third staff member looks over when I said “we’d like to order drinks!”, begrudgingly took our order, wrote it down to hand to the first bartender and said “you can go and find a seat now….” I watched to tables near us. The first was ignored for over 15 minutes until one person stood up, walked around the bar and had to bring over the server himself. The second was friends with the servers, got served immediately, took shots with the server and then ate food from another restaurant! Shocking!! Did I mention the drinks are mostly ice cubes?

Good vibes, good music, good drinks. I usually end up Shazaming some of the music. I start work early and get off early so I like to go by before it gets busier and get a "Turtle Power" then stumble home to bed.

Everything was excellent except the horrid music/speakers! Drinks were delicious and the space is very visually appealing. However, the music did not fit the chill vibe and speakers were poor quality. Will visit again if they overhaul the audio!
