Take it from a Mexican who lived in Los Angeles - this place is the BEST for tamales!! Rivals any place in L.A. -totally agree with review that said these tamales are not dry PLUS perfect amount of filling to masa! You will not regret getting your tamal fix here. Don’t plan to eat here take to go -not a sit down kind of place.Parking: It can be a little busy early morning but spots can be found - just watch out for the big “trocas” they are parking spot hogs!

The burritos were got were very good as was the sauce, nice and spicy red one! But I chose the chicherone(sp?) And I was expecting the crunchy ones inside... This offer style is not that, but was flavorful.I also chose to take home tamales! 6/pineapple ?6/pork ? = only $20 and well with it!Lastly, there is no bathroom here for patrons and the place is a little hole in the wall with easy front door parking (no drive thru) and VERY CLEAN! 5 stars for that!

Delicious tamales! The cooks there know what they are doing. Out of the 3 choices, I personally think the Rojo De Ruerlo was my favorite but all 3 are really good. I just wish there was a little more filling.I would rate thier tamales 8/10.I also ordered a Asad burrito but I was not a fan of it. I don't really like black beans and there seemed to be quite a bit in the burrito. I would rate it a 4/10Thier prices are great, making thier food an amazing value. I highly recommend trying thier food!
The best tamales in Denver! Definitely worth the visit. The tamales are made every day fresh and have a significant amount of meats and fruits (in the pineapple and strawberry) ones. They open at 0500 and once they are gone and done for the day you miss out . This is how good they are, on the weekends there are lines outside because of people waiting for this deliciousness. The store is a little hole in the wall, this is what makes it the best. I forgot to mention this is the only place that makes strawberry tamales in the area. The owners and the service is always welcoming, like going to your tias house . Feels at home
