Let’s start with the simplistic yet warm ambiance of the restaurant. It feels like a special and even secret space. It’s like walking into someone’s home.The staff are absolutely excellent in their field. The host Jen in particular was charming and fluid in her orchestrating our seating. Which by the way was generously offered to us even though we didn’t have reservations, at 6pm on a Friday night (our original plan fell through don’t judge!)Of course last but not least was the fabulous dynamic dishes we were served. We started with a few little bites that packed a flavorful punch; butternut squash and ricotta surrounded in fried golden puff topped with pomegranate seed melted into the mouth exquisitely.We shared the lamb tartare which was uniquely served with the crunchy bit on top of the tartare. Next up we shared a radicchio salad of sorts with grapefruit, meyers lemon, and black olive ash. A total harmony of delight.We continued into our main dishes, which I was trepidatious to choose the vegetarian option of turnip mushroom cakes with lentils, however I adored my dish and enthusiastically preferred it over my companions swordfish.We finished with a sweet note with their chocolate caramel pannacotta. It was a delightful dichotomy of sweet and salt and smooth and crunchy.Treat yourself to their quality service, ingredients, atmosphere and culinary artistry.

The ambiance is loverly, they offered a champagne birthday toast, and the food was delicious. We have had this restaurant on our list for a while, and decided to take my mom there for her 77th birthday. We noted on the reservation that she has food allergies. We have never been to a high end restaurant that refused to accommodate her allergies so I didn't think to call ahead. She was only able to eat one small appetizer off of the menu, and the chef refused to accomodate a wheat and dairy allergy, which are common allergies. How disappointing. We found the chef and waitstaff pretentious and unaccommodating. However, the sommelier was friendly and informative.

Great service but small portions. We literally went to a taco truck after bc we were still hungry. The salad and slider were excellent but main courses, while still good, weren't worth the money, esp considering the portions.

I thought Fruition had a very solid menu that featured some really great dishes. The main attraction to this place was probably the excellent service.The bison carpaccio is probably one of the best, if not the best, carpaccio we’ve had. It had everything: savory without being overtly salty like most carpaccio tended to be, the tenderness let the meat shine, plus a lot of texture from the sun choke chips and fragrance, eaten with that delicious avocado mousse that just made it a perfect bite each time. The crudo/tartare was equally delicious with that whipped tofu and the seaweed chip that complemented the fish so well. The diver scallops were the stars of the night for me: absolutely cooked to perfection topped with caviar and that delicious, creamy, light lobster bisque sauce that elevated it to a whole ‘nother level.I got the cod for my entree. The fish itself was perfectly cooked. It leaned a bit on the bland side with the flavor itself but cod is you know kinda bland to begin with. But again it was the creamy Manila clam chowder underneath that lifted this ordinary fish into a really satisfying bite.Get the profiteroles! They reminded me a lot of the Danish cookies.The meal was excellent so we can’t wait to come back. Also this is the restaurant in which all the unhappy but rich ppl from Capitol Hill come to dine, so you’ll also get to hear (very loudly) about their relationship problems and daily goings on!

So I have been going to this place for the last few years, as a special occasion destination with my wife, my last visit really turned me off ,I think there's a new chef, or management,but the food was not good or fresh, I am a trained and experienced chef ,and for what they're charging is not worth the money anymore, also I saw one of the dishes on the menu at Costco,I hope they're not serving Costco food,but the lamb and BBQ pomegranate,was not good at all,I hope y'all fix this ,if y'all need a good Chef reach out to me I wouldn't mind helping out .

Great place! We celebrated my husband's birthday there. The food and the menu amazing - simple, but yet exquisite! There are gluten free and vegetarian options! The staff was super friendly and knowledgable! Strongly recommend!
