The wings and catfish are my favorite proteins. They do a jerk rub that's nice and peppery! They also have good fries. Honestly, I love all their food, including the desserts. It's a takeout place, so not much for "atmosphere," and it can take A LONG time for the food to be ready.

Gemma's was great. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was even better. I heard about the food at this place and everyone told me it was ?. I ordered wings, a hot link, the hush puppies and baked beans. It was fire. I couldn't choose between the different sauces, so I ordered lemon pepper, hot honey and the chile mango. All were delicious. The hot link was delicious as well, I got it sliced with some BBQ sauce. The hush puppies were good and went well with the ranch dipping I ordered for it. Last the beans were flavorful, it seemed like they had green chile in them and were a little spicy. Lots of other items that I couldn't fit in today but I'll be be back! Thought the desserts and the brisket will be the next selections. Go here and eat, you won't be sorry!Parking: Street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk access

Have always loved it here. Send all my family and friends here. Today was terrible. First, I watched the woman behind the counter be rude for absolutely no reason to a young man picking up his food. Just mean for no reason. I’ve NEVER experienced that here so I was shocked to say the least.1. Two months ago the price was $16.50. Last month, $20. Today, $25(!). All for the same two meat dinner.2. Got whiting and they gave me the two smallest pieces of fish I’ve probably ever seen in my life. Also it’s not whiting, it’s catfish. And it’s overcooked.3. Ordered honey hot wings and they got that wrong too. Not sure what kinda rub it is, but it most def isn’t honey hot (which is amazing).I’ve been here so many times I don’t wanna give up on them, but dang. I hope the social media popularity isn’t changing the core of what this place brings.

BEST damn wings… Picked up a late night order of wings, fries, etc. and thoroughly enjoyed my entire experience. The food is reasonably priced, and blasting with flavor! I valued the time getting to know the owners, waiting for my food. One of which shared wisdom that I carry in my day to day life! Family vibes here, incredible food, and CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK!
Unfortunately, the food was only okay, at best. It was certainly not worth the nearly one hour wait for the food. I certainly do not recommend eating at Genna Rae Wings & More. There are far too many restaurants that serve better food and provide faster service in the area.

It's so sad that we do not have a good soul food restaurant in Colorado. The food there is not cooked with love and the Desserts. is Disgusting. sad Whoever makes the desserts the cakes be dry. You don't make banana pudding like that. The peach cobbler is not Made right. And the side dishes are nasty. ???? And the food is too high to be not cooked right? Our taste right.
I met the owner at park hill supermarket. One of the most humble and coolest people I’ve met in my life the food looks amazing and it’s a local businesses so make sure to leave a tip!

I hate to go against the grain .. visited this place in hopes of finding some food Denver food. Asked for no mustard on my bacon cheese burger. Got home to realize there was mustard … was told mustard doesn’t even come on the jerk burger .. there was mustard on it too. So two burgers gone to waste. The phone number doesn’t work so i couldn’t even call to try and resolve the issue. Customer service was very weird too. Was not greeted, cashier was kind of sarcastic and rude when i was saying what i didn’t want on my burgers. Idk i wasn’t impressed and feel like i wasted my money.
