Chef Kemonte made the best sandwich I’ve ever had! The Rosso Royale is a masterpiece. Also the chocolate chip cookies had no business being that good.

Great place by a reflection pool outdoors in the gardens. It has local ingredients, healthy options, plant based options, and it’s real tasty! Seriously wish I had a pass to just eat here more often.Vegetarian options: About half veg and a lot can be modified to be.

I think we caught them on an off day. They weren't making pizza or espresso, but didn't know until after we'd ordered and paid in the case of the latter. The grilled cheese sandwich was bland. I had to go back and ask for parts of my order they didn't make originally, even though there was no one else there. The patio in the gardens is lovely, but they need to step up the food.

There are two eateries at The Denver Botanic Garden. Enjoying the beautiful and warm day, we opted for the Hive Garden Bistro that only has outdoor seating. We shared a vegetable sandwich ($14). Expecting a grilled veggie sandwich, we were pleasantly surprised with the raw veggie sandwich of tightly packed lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, onion (no raw sprouts) and a tasty thick aioli. For an upcharge of $2, we had sweet potato fries. There was an outdoor pizza oven but no pizzas were being made. Date of experience: October 2023

The guy that took out order the other night was SO rude and treated us like we were idiots. Glow at the Garden was awesome though so that made up for it.

Thanks Ki'monte, I might not know the actual spelling of your name but I do know you have compassion for helping my diabetic dad with food even though you guys were winding down the kitchen to get ready for site closure. Much appreciated!!!

Food was surprisingly delicious! We ordered a hamburger and BLT. You order at the window, find an open table, and the food is brought to you. Expect a bit of a wait in line to order and get your meal during the peak lunch hour. Seating is on open patio by the lily pond.

Hive Garden Bistro is located in Denver's Botanic Gardens. It's located near the Asian plants. I only got lemonade. It was really tasty and refreshing. It had a perfect amount of lemon.? . I absolutely loved it. Next time I come back to Denver, I'll make sure to try their food.

Terrible experience. Beyond rude staff. Young white guy that works here with dark hair, has a major attitude problem, is extremely unpleasant and openly tells people he hates his job. Worst service I've ever had anywhere! They messed up multiple orders, very unorganized, forgot my parties food. Do not bother going here unless you want to be talked down to, by a very disturbed young man.
