Yes! THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL! Lots of places claim to serve gelato but it's not genuine, Italian gelato. I Scream Gelato nails it.

The Gelato itself is 5 stars. More even. However, the service is subpar. No greeting when we came in and you could tell the woman at the counter seemed less than enthused to be there. I asked to purchase a bubble waffle itself and was told I would have to pay the full $11. Crazy. The location in Breckenridge allows you to purchase them separately at a lower price. So I don't understand the difference. I understand they are independently owned but charging $11 when you are only wanting the waffle and no exceptions is outlandish. She was also so slow at making my order that the people behind us left. This place would be 5 stars if they had better customer service.
