Christian always made me feel welcome, with a hug or a high five. He honestly cared how i was doing. As a regular (2-4 times a week) I am heartbroken he was fired. He was also good with the upsells always asking if i wanted to go beverages. Your loss Illegal Petes.. he is the best.

Recently, to our shock and dismay, Christian was unjustly fired by the big company that oversees the establishment. The reason? Doing his job responsibly by cutting off a customer who had clearly indulged too much.Christian's dedication to the well-being of his patrons and the community is unparalleled. His commitment to responsible service and ensuring the safety of everyone at Pete's is commendable and has earned him the respect and admiration of many, including myself. The entire bartending crew are the best as well as the rest of the staff. It’s always a great experience when I come there, and I always want to come back. Shout out Christian, Casey, Dee, Beth, and Savannah. (Edited 3/27) I found out today that my favorite bartender no longer is employed at this establishment, him and the rest of the names I listed previously make the heart and soul of this location and why I have returned once a week minimum for the last 3 years, I’m sad to say that will be no more. If you read 50% of the reviews on this location they are about the amazing service provided by the names listed above and show how well they take care of their customers and fellow employees. It’s sad to see a fixation on one specific review cause so much harm to the community that has been built there, thanks for the great times while they lasted.

Not happy to be posting this but I feel the need to stand up for what's right. Recently a bad review was posted by someone who's friend was cut off for being too drunk and the bartender was just fired. This bartender is the heart of Pete's on Broadway and has made it the neighborhood spot it is today. Nobody would ever think to go to Pete's to watch sports but it is now the busiest sports bar on Broadway. All of the regulars come here for the amazing bartenders and to see management fire someone for doing their job is really disappointing.
I normally don’t leave reviews but the male bartender that was working the evening of 3/23 was extremely rude & I will not be going back. The food staff was super nice but I cannot believe the lack of class & service the male bartender had. I would chose 0 stars if I could.

This review is specifically directed towards the male bartender working the evening of 3/23. No complaints about our food or the employees working behind the counter. I went here after work with a group of friends to hang out and enjoy happy hour. The bartender working was extremely rude to our party from the moment we first ordered drinks, we just assumed that he was maybe having a busy night and was just overwhelmed. We shook it off but came back for a second round of drinks. My female friend ordered, he told her he was choosing to not serve her without explanation and was very condescending and rude. I could have understood if we had ordered a lot of drinks prior or were drunk/causing a scene, however this was not the case and this man would not give us a reason as to why. Our male friends then ordered which was apparently fine because drinks were made without issue. I’ve never experienced service like this, and I encourage management to really evaluate how this employee treats customers.
