on Friday 3/15 I was assaulted by drunk young man for no reason. my boyfriend shoved him and he was assaulted by the bouncers, they kicked him in his back shoved him up against the guard rail. they severely bruised his back and left visible boot print. after we were already outside a shorter bouncer kept getting in his face instigating my boyfriend and telling him to hit him. once I told them why my boyfriend shoved the guy they were very apologetic and realized he only did that to protect me but it was too late as they has already beat him up without finding out what was going on first. The cop on duty witnessed the whole incident and did absolutely nothing. I had to take my boyfriend to the emergency room to get checked out as the injuries' to his back were very severe. I thought bouncers jobs were to break up fights? not to beat up customers for no reason. We will be taking this as far as we can we will be contacting the news as well as an attorney.

Came on St. Patrick’s day for the first time, and was not disappointed. Yes it was crowded when we got there around 1pm, but that was when the CES Pipe Band was there and playing (they NAILED it by the way) so people were crowded trying to enjoy the show. After they stopped playing it thinned out a bit more. The service was good and reliable–especially considering it was a very busy day. The Irish egg rolls were super tasty and the food came out pretty quick! The rooftop deck is really nice, and the vibe overall was very positive and chill. If you’re searching for a classic pub, you’re definitely in the right place!

Update 2/23/24:The last couple times I've been here, the service has been "hey we'll check in with you immediately and then completely disappear for 20 minutes while 4 servers chat behind the bar and no one talks to customers." I've always enjoyed their fish but tonight there were bites of my fish that made me concerned I'd get food poisoning. Downgrading to a 4 star because they were 5 star in the past but recent visits have been 2 or 3 star at best.Previous:Tons of TVs, awesome service, great food. Friday is half off fish and chips that were delicious. Other great deals each night of the week.Update for additional stops: it's usually not very crowded in any one section, but later on Friday and Saturday nights they clear out the downstairs main space for a DJ, for better or worse depending on if you like that.Went there to watch the US woman's soccer match for th3 WWC and while they had the game on most TVs, they didn't have the sound on - disappointing for an Irish bar to not commit to the World Cup, of all things.
Never ever have I been baby sat when coming to this place. The bartender upstairs this Sat morning micromanaged my meal and made it super uncomfortable. I asked the bartender downstairs and he was a little shocked. He said we don’t usually operate like that.
