Food is really good service is ok. The 3 star goes to the fact that they NEVER get my Togo orders right. NEVER not through DoorDash or even if I go in person or call and remind of my request. Something is ALWAYS missing OR DONE WRONG…ALWAYS. kinda frustrating, ordered French toast one day and they only gave me the toast. No fruit, no butter no utensils, nothing just the toast, luckily it was cooked but I had to run to the store to get syrup butter and some strawberries. Basically I made double errands paid to cook myself French toast. This might be the last time I eat here or order food from them. One mistake is ok I’ll even forgive you for three mistakes since your food is good but it’s been beyond three mistakes.

Sunday breakfast access before 9 am is easy and tables readily available. Nice feature to have online waitlist access!Food unremarkable - biscuit in biscuit and gravy too dry and not enough gravy to compensate. Breakfast potatoes were yummy but needed salt and pepper. Breakfast burrito ho-hum. Stuffed with too many potatoes and not enough pulled pork and chorizo, which made it too bland. Little donuts not what was expected - instead of being filled in the center, flavor was just spooned over the top. At $5 for 4 donut holes, a bit disappointing. Probably won’t go back.Parking: On street parking on a week-end is non-existent. Had to park 2 blocks away.

Jelly used to be one of my favorite brunch spots, but my last visit wasn't amazing. Among other things, I was really disappointed to see (upon receiving our check) that they've adopted an anti-labor tactic: a staff surcharge. On the surface, this is a great policy - who doesn't want staff to get more bucks?! They work hard and deserve more pay, especially with the cost of living in Denver. (Oof.) But these surcharge policies are actually anti-worker, and more often than not an easy cash grab for owners. Costs for EVERYTHING have gone up - food, utilities, rent - but you don't see a special tomato surcharge on your bill, or an electricity fee, or anything else singled out except for staff. Why not? Because those costs are included in the price. That's generally how capitalism works. Singling out workers for a special surcharge is a sneaky way to increase prices without *technically* increasing prices. And if you don't like hidden fees - like most of us - the restauranteur is hoping your negative feelings get tempered by your empathy for the staff. And if you're a jerk with no empathy, well, then your negative feelings are directed toward the workers ("Dang staffing shortages!") rather than at the state of the economy in general. Do restaurant staff deserve higher wages? Absolutely! But restaurants should pay for that cost the same way they pay for their skillets and avocados and degreaser: by raising prices and not by singling out labor. (The staff here, by the way, is pretty amazing. They're clearly stretched to the limit during busy periods, but man are they on top of stuff!)

Someone should report them to the Better Business Bureau or something like that. Their policy is to consistently misrepresent wait times for reservations by up to an hour and a half. On three separate occasions, I've experienced this firsthand. Once at the restaurant, the 'additional' wait time is consistently 15 minutes to half an hour, with the aim of entrapping you by the false hope of a table. The best part is that they are entirely unapologetic about their willful manipulativeness and deceitfulness. If you dare to inquire about the prolonged wait, expect to be met with aggressive condescension from the staff. It's likely a challenging workplace environment, but the blame shouldn't fall on the patrons who are simply waiting for a table and need to decide whether they want to grow old waiting at Jelly Cafe.

I’ve literally never had good service here it’s actually such a bummer cause the space itself is nice and cute. The servers almost always have bad attitudes and are never warm or welcoming. You stand at the door and look at dirty tables while the servers pretended you aren’t there. Really disappointing. Foods good though.

It’s always something and today was the last straw. I order the same thing every time and I get delivery from here all the time. Today my black beans were just dumped directly into my morning greens. If y’all don’t know, the morning greens come with blueberries and raspberry dressing on it. So yep…I can’t tell if I’m eating a blueberry or a black bean and the flavors are totally gross together. The black beans usually come in a small separate container because they have a lot of juice with them. My toast was soaked with black bean juice.I love the premise of a healthy breakfast so close that I keep trying like an idiot. It always seems to be something though. They change the available styles of eggs for no discernible reason, which is why I switched to black beans in the first place. Some of the jellies are god awful (pepper jelly for your toast?) and they’ll send that instead of the raspberry jelly they ALWAYS have on hand. There should be an option to choose the jelly of the day or raspberry jelly. I called to ask and they confirmed they always have raspberry jelly, in addition to the rotating jelly. You tell me which of those are black beans and which are blueberries. lol. Doesn’t matter though because it’s such an unholy mess of a….salad bowl?…. that I can’t eat it. Usually I just deal with the gross jelly or whatever but whoever did this made my food completely inedible.

Very busy and service reflected that. food was good; we had a party of 7 and had to sit on the patio which would be fine on a day that was a bit warmer than when I was there. (I never took my coat off). The biggest drawback is parking…took about 25-30 minutes to find a place to park.Parking: As far as I could tell, only street parking. Please see above.

If you are getting the rustic potatoes, get them well done. Most of the time I come to this place, it seems like I'm being served boiled potatoes with no seasoning. The turkey BLT was also a no. One slice of turkey and a large amount of greens that take up most of the sandwich. The rest of their stuff is really good though.

I’ve been going here, I want to say, for the last 7 years or so. Atmosphere is usually perfect for me. They usually play good music which makes me feel like I’m in a much more hip city. I usually order the corned beef hash which is pretty delicious and generously portioned. Today, I decided to try the breakfast burrito. Highly recommend. They can make lattes and things besides coffee as well. They also make cocktails. All beverages are pretty perfect. They have 2 inclusive restrooms where you can comfortably take care of business and take a cool mirror selfie on your way out. Pro tip, if you’re going on the weekend when they’re busy you can check in online prior to arrival and avoid waiting forever.

This is a great local place. However, be aware they charge for standard sides to a sandwich like fries. Today they charged me for some ranch that unfortunately I never received.
