Talk about authentic Japanese food! I just got back from Japan and reminds me of Osaka. Obviously some people on here haven't been to Japan and not used to the way places look inside and the service they have. Will come back many many times.

Delicious bowls, we ordered the Gyudon and Katsudon, and it was so good. Some of the best I have had outside of my own kitchen. The miso soup was good. We enjoyed it all.

Update: still amazing! Kiki's is still great after all these years! The food is so good, and even though they have less tables now, the atmosphere still takes you to Japan as soon as you walk in. Try the katsudon!

Old school Japanese food, a lot like what my grandmother used to make.

Wow, fantastic, authentic, Japanese food. It’s refreshing to have a place that’s not catered to the American palate, and that offers more than just Ramen. With all the hipster ramen and sushi places in Denver this is a breath of fresh air. The Katsudon dishes are my absolute favorite. The gyoza and the egg rolls are lovely and fresh, and the dipping sauces are delish!!I appreciate that it’s a small family owned place. Others have complained about it being cramped and the clutter, but honestly I love these kinds of restaurants. I don’t need the fanciest restaurant, I don’t need the best customer service, I just want good food and I’m grateful this quality and authenticity of Japanese food is available in Denver.

Way overpriced for the portions received. Veggie tempura had about 5 tiny pieces of veggies. Carrot was nearly uncooked due to how long and thick it was. TINY ONION. Potato korokke came with 1 potato korokke. Final bill was $15. This is INSANE. One tiny plate of fried vegetables. Will not be coming back.

One of those hole in the wall Denver staples. Quiet, cozy, mom & pop. No frills no fuss, just a cute small place with great food!Their main focus is on casual Japanese cuisine. Their menu is huge with lots of variety! A great place to come to step out of your comfort zone for Japanese food outside of sushi.I love coming for their katsudon, ichiro bowl, negitoro bowls, and a good range of udon! Their curry udon is enjoyable. If you just want a good meal that stays true to Japanese classics, Kiki's is the place.

Overall, the food was good and presented in a nice way. The complimentary salad and miso soup were great as well. Personally think the food was a bit salty, which may be my own case. The service was just okay, no big complaints about.Parking: The parking lots are located in the plaza, not plenty of space but should be fine during the off-peak hours.

The food is very good, you just have to get past dining in your grandmother’s attic! What I mean by that is there’s clutter everywhere. This is not a clean restaurant and that bothers me, which is why I’m only giving it three stars. Cleanliness is imperative in the food business. If they would clean up all the clutter and grime, it would actually be a great restaurant.
