I love this little place. It is so cozy and a great place for a romantic dinner or catching up with an old friend. They have a great wine list and the service is friendly. The homemade bread is so good.

My stars say it all. I love the authentic French atmosphere. Our server, Elina, was prompt and attentive. And the food was terrific. When the bread and butter are excellent, you know the rest of the meal will be too. The butter was of a quality that you cannot buy in a regular grocery store. Wish I knew the source. My first course during Restaurant Week was the onion soup. It was really good, although I have had better. But the beef bourguignon was killer. The beef roast had been slow roasted, as it should be, and was fork tender. The creme brulee was heavenly! Probably the best example of this dessert that I have had in many, many years. Certainly better than my own. I was told that the recipe is top secret, and I can believe it. You won't find better anywhere.

The food was fabulous. Oysters were incredibly fresh a and tasty, my Trout almondine was delicate yet powerfully flavorful. My friends beef Bourgogne was so delicious, a tiny bit chewy but that didn't take away from how good it was. We shared a salad: each of us had two glasses of wine and we finished up with crème brûlée! What a wonderful meal!

We have enjoyed La Merise for years. We often opt for the onion soup and the boeuf bourguignon and, as fate would have it, both were on the Denver Restaurant week menu. Unlike other restaurants, they seem to have been able to hold onto their experienced staff, which make the dining experience much more pleasant. We highly recommend the restaurant anytime.

Equally comfortable as it is a great neighborhood place for us. Going during Restaurant Week is but one visit each year. Very fairly priced wine list which goes to that of the menu itself. Crowded night, full house and seemingly strangely divided stations for the servers. Perhaps the best mussels and French Onion soup around.

Great restaurant in Cherry Creek North. Denver Restaurant Week is a great way to try a little of everything. Started with the mussels in white wine sauce, always amazing. Moved onto the Parisian Chicken and finished with the creme brulee. So yummy.

The food was amazing. We got escargot and the chicken pate for apps which were delicious, and then got the lamb and the beef bourginon and they were both so good. The server was attentive and sweet. All around great experience, will definitely be back!

It was our second time at La Merise and was as enjoyable as the first. For my wife's father and his wife it was their first visit and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was great as was the service and overall experience. Highly recommend.

As always, the food at La Merise was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We started,as we always do, with the mussels in cream sauce. They were delicious and the portion was quite generous. I have had mussels at many restaurants in the Denver Metro area and judge La Merise's to be the best! Our entrees, the trout and the chicken croquettes, were delicious. Finally our server and all of the other staff were great and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to all for an enjoyable evening.

Lunch was delicious, as usual! I had the avocado crab salad which is my all time favorite. The portion was very generous and very fresh. On the side was a light and wonderful salad. My husband had the Reuben. He loved it. There was plenty of corned beef and the cheese oozed out of the sandwich. Of course, there were plenty of excellent French fries. The waitress was attentive and knew the menu and ingredients well. We had a lovely lunch. We left very happy.
