First time visiting Freedom Street Social. Tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando and it wasn’t bad. I’d say cooked to perfection, but there was almost nothing else. Not sure what is supposed to be in the sandwhich, but was hoping for some kinda sweet glaze sauce to contrast the hot chicken. Maybe adding more crispy khale could be nice. Fries were outstanding and great portions. My son got the burger and it looked very simple and disappointing for $11. Just completely uninspired. It was the thinnest 1/4” patty you’ve ever seen, with a single pickle and slice of American Cheese (didn’t know people still cooked with that manufactured artificial mess).Overall, not a terrible spot for decent hot chicken, but don’t go too far out if your way if there’s other good options.

Some of the best chicken I've had! Visited the Freedom street social location twice and absolutely loved it. Chicken was cooked to perfection super juicy and the fries are crispy and battered. I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews? Seems like a smear campaign from KFC, did you guys wrong someone?AMAZING CHICKEN.

Tried the Lea Jean’s Nashville sando at the Freedom Street Social 7/20 in evening. Place was hopping’. Cashier took order and personal info, said they’d text me when ready in 10-15 mins. Meantime party found a table. Waited. No text. Walked over at 12 mins. Food sitting on counter. “Sorry, text not working.”Sat down to a large plate of fries and a very tall sandwich. Two chicken tenders, hot, moist and tasty but heavily seasoned and too big for “Texas toast” which wasn’t Texas enough. Bun fell apart but I reassembled for each bite. Wife just ate each piece separately. I couldn’t taste any Kimchi and there was just a tiny bit of stringy mustard? greens. Not near enough to pair well with the chicken portion. Fries tasty, crispy and…cold. Root beer tasted great, like A&W mixed with cream soda, but a bit sweet.I’m sorry but for me $15 meal not worth repeating. Thank you for your efforts, though. We really need a venue like this out here.Suggestions: Press the chicken before frying, plate that sando with a cup of your kimchi relish on the side, serve fries hot, and fix the texting.

food is equal to kfc at best but when the owner of this and a hand full of high priced other food court concepts lives off not paying contractors and employees what do you expect customer service ha its a joke. makes sense when the world was going through hard time he was expanding his attempt to be a powerhouse in the lodo area. Easy to see when you use your employees as investors but some how cant keep paying them when they needed it the most. id be careful you might order and pay for your food and still be waiting 600 plus days later

I have never had such explosive diarrhea in my whole life not only myself but the rest of my family as well. I don't trust the food here anymore. And Johnny don't try to play like you're my friend a****** you tried to kill me you could have just paid your tab instead you tried to kill me.

Chicken was well cooked, great texture, size. Taste was good and spicy. Mac & cheese is definitely the best.

The vibe of this place is awesome-- super close to lots of fun spots in Rino, Lea Jane's has replaced the old spot where Biju's used to be. They have great murals, and stellar service. The food is also really good, depending on what you get. The Nashville sandwich is phenomenal-- HIGHLY recommend that one! The fish sandwich was... ok? It tasted pretty fishy, which I know some people will love. The breading for the fish wasn't as great as the chicken, and seemed to hold on to more grease or something. It was still pretty good, just not great. I absolutely love the fries here. Tee subbed one of our fry sides (which come with entree orders) with Mac and cheese for an extra $2 but honestly, the Mac wasn't that great... next time I might try the coleslaw or just stick with more fries. Now, the banana pudding at Lea Jane's is fantastic... it might be my favorite thing there. It's not too sweet, with hints of banana in the delicious butterscotch pudding, topped with decadent but not very sweetened whipped cream and vanilla wafers. I would love to come back here... but... it was so chilly in there, I was almost shivering by the end of my meal, and I had a sweater on... so dress warm, wear your stretchy pants, and leave room for dessert!

I learned about Lea Jane's because of the RiNo location. Even before their grand opening (it was a Yelp Elite event) I fell in love with the Lea Jane's Hot Chicken and every other food item I ordered off the menu. My friends and partners will attest that I don't typically like chicken but will always make an exception when it's fried or spicy. I've been to Avanti several times. It's a go-to for group outings because people can order from any restaurant of their choosing. I got excited for Lea Jane's but accidentally got the Nashville Hot Chicken (even while writing this review I got the name wrong) instead of the Lea Jane's Hot Chicken. Oops! Didn't mean to get my chicken in sandwich form. I should have double checked the order, but the staff pointed out that I simply ordered the wrong thing. They were total jerks about it and rolled their eyes at each other. Definitely better ways to handle this situation. The actual piece of chicken tasted undercooked anyways, and I didn't end up finishing my meal. With so many other restaurants at Avanti, I won't be coming back to Lea Jane's and just stick with the RiNo location when I have a Hot Chicken craving. Both customer service and food were super disappointing.

Food truck at best. Who burns fried chicken?

Omg. Chicken was crispy and juicy at the same time! Not to spicy and the sauces were everything. Would definitely go back not just for the chicken but also the chicken sandwiches and the ambience. This place is amazing
