Overpriced and terrible Italian food. Looks like the silver haired crowd keeps this place afloat. No idea how they are still in business when they serve this garbage. I got sick from the obviously old seafood they served me. Place is total trash!

Very disappointing. Our server was polite but it felt as if they were busy and wanted us to move on so they could reset our table. We ordered a salad to split before our entree and they served us a very simple salad, not the one we ordered. Our entrees were fair to good. My daughter asked for the rest of her entree to be packaged up to take home and they never brought it to the table. For the price, we were expecting a much classier experience. We won't be back.

Service was slow and of the limited red wine selection, they were out of THREE wines: Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, and Pinot Noir. The waiter did not offer any alternative- just said “sorry”.. Very strange for an Italian style restaurant? We won't go back anytime soon.

My 2nd visit, this time with foodie visitors from Austin. It was an outstanding meal, great cocktails, excellent desserts, wonderful service. I'll be back for the short rib ravioli again soon.

We sat in the bar area and waited forever to get beverages throughout the meal. Our glasses were empty most of the time. Our server Will was awesome and seemed very overwhelmed behind the bar so I can't blame him. I don't like when my app comes out right before the food and then it's all stacked up. I am only writing this review because I brought two clients who have never been and it was not a seamless dinner. My guests would have loved a second or third glass of wine but by then they were just ready to finish.

Great service and food was good. There were a number of specials and all sounded amazing. The wine list was limited (majority of red was out of stock) for they were waiting on a shipment. This was the only disappointment of the evening. Everything else made up for the lack of wine. Quaint place and we will return.

First time there. Food was delicious. Service was very good. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were outstanding. The tagliatelle was wonderful. Loved the fresh pasta.

Dined with some friends who had been before. Service was a bit slow, food was okay, not a lot of flavor, restaurant was Cold (temperature) so needless to say it wasn't inviting overall ambiance was flat.

The food seemed authentic Italian. However, overpriced . The butter lettuce salad for $18 wasn't much butter lettuce and had 4 pecans in it. The Frita Mista was supposed to have artichoke but didn't get but 1 leaf. The lasagna was the best. Our waiter was new, and he totally forgot about us to order our entrees. Wish some things were better and more fair price. Even the bread was a side.

I go to Locanda every other month because of its consistency. My tuna dish was very good as was my friends that ravioli. Brian, our white staff was very friendly and it's just a nice neighborhood experience.

I used to love this place because they served the best meatballs ever! Big and flavorful. Last night, we ordered them, but to our surprise, they were small and tasteless. It's so sad when restaurants decide to go big on price but lose their ability to maintain quality. To add insult to injury, our server was scarce and infinitely more interested in her phone and interacting with her colleagues than she was in providing any service. We had to ask for silverware, water, napkins, more wine. She was quick to bring the check, but forgot to ask if we wanted dessert, which we did. It's hard to dismiss the poor service. The restaurant was not busy and she was focused on her apps! I go to the Chophouse in Cherry Creek several times a week because of their exemplary service. it's always a great experience. Locanda would be wise to think about training their wait staff, or having a qualified manager on duty. It could really increase their business significantly! There are too many choices to ever put up with mediocre food and poor service. But, i am hoping they will read this, and i am going to give them another chance.

We love this neighborhood restaurant. If you want consistently high quality meals in a comfortable but lively setting this is a great choice. It's a good place for celebrations or to enjoy an excellent Italian dinner. Our neighborhood gem.
