The food here can be hot or miss. Street tacos are good but some nights are better than others. Very convenient place if you live in one ? f the apartment buildings nextdoor.Parking: A couple of parking garages in walking distance, free for 3 hours.

I’ve been here a number of times over the years and today I’ve decided it’s my last time. The prices have increased consistently while the food taste has gone down considerably. They often change the menu and they just aren’t hitting it for me anymore. The tacos, queso and elote were mediocre and the rice and beans were abysmally bland. I won’t pay for food that I can make better at home

It was alright. I wasn't excited nor disappointed. I had Carne asada tacos and some chips and salsa so I didn't try a lot. I did enjoy the salsa though. My date had a few different tacos and the elote and enjoyed them all just fine. Service was fine once we were seated and they were polite and accommodating. I'd go again to try something new.Parking: Mostly side street parking

Went for an early dinner with some coworkers. Food was great! Price was fair for the quality of the food. It was not a busy night but our waiter was not very attentive. That being said if I am in that area again I would go back!

We hosted a happy hour at Los Chingones- DTC and had the most amazing experience. We enjoyed the incredible food, drinks, and atmosphere. Patrick went above and beyond to host our clients. Thank you again!

I really want to like this place but seems something is wrong every time we go.1.) first time we went I was excited for the Birria tacos. When receiving my meal I got a tiny ramekin filled barely halfway with just the grease from the Birria consume. I brought it up to the server and she said it was suppose to be like that so I shrugged my shoulders and went with it. Not enough for three tacos and just the grease.2.) the second time I wanted to try the Birria tacos again. This time I received the brothy part of the consume with no grease ! This was exciting. But half of a tiny ramekin is not enough to dip three tacos in. This time the rice was severely uncooked and so crunchy and the beans had 0 flavor. For having an actual chef and staff not having quality control is sad.3.) third time we decided to take my mother and sister when they were in town for Christmas. There was hair in not one of 4 dishes. But THREE. My sister had a hair cooked into her quesadilla. I had hair in my taco and my boyfriend had a hair on his plate. No one in the open kitchen was wearing a hat or hairnet. This was repulsive. Luckily the manager took care of our appetizers but they only took care of the quesadilla off the bill. Pretty unacceptable and ridiculous to have that many hairs?! What are the chances.Whereas the food concepts and ambiance is fun, this place has failed me every time we have tried and we will not be recommending or returning

Had to ask for chips and salsa, salsa was really tasty, the downside they charge for chips and salsa. I had ordered just 3 tacos a la carte and was served a full platter and charged for their mistake. On the check there was a charge not aware of until I asked-EAGS 4%, was told that was for the cooks ??. Will I be dining there again NOPE!!!!

Had a great Valentine's Day dinner here. Took advantage of their special deal for the holiday. Guacamole was tremendous as were all our tacos. Particularly like the fried fish tacos. Margaritas were tasty and not too boozy. Good times.

Had a reservation and had to wait nearly 45 minutes for a seat that wasn't at the bar. Once finally seated, the service was painfully slow. The music was painfully loud to where we had to wear our AirPods to protect our ears. The food was horrendous honestly, I did not finish a single item. The queso was very watery and runny, the rice and beans were overcooked and bland- almost as if the beans had come straight from the can. To end everything- we were incorrectly overcharged by $12 and had no way of correcting that as we did not get an itemized receipt until after we had paid. We were handed a mobile check out device that only showed the total and NOT the items. Overall, very poor experience and I do NOT recommend dining here.

Food is good, margs were great, hard to hear my table mate for the loud music... it's like a loud bar....loved the Valentine's Day special and appreciate everyone who was working that night

My husband I tried this place on Valentines normally we do not go out on valentines. We usually go before or after...but we decided to go somewhere low key and somewhere new. Los Chingones was awesome, the food was great, the margaritas was even better. The service was awesome! We recommend this place for sure.

Ambiance: 10/10Margarita flight: 8/10– not a fan of super fruity drinks with lack of alcoholFood: 10/10– everything was amazing. We had birria, carne asada, baja and adobo chicken tacos. The jalapeño salsa was great … depends on your spice level.Music was ehhh.. not as diverse

Honestly, I think it’s a little over-hyped. The atmosphere is cool, and the service is pretty good. But the food…meh. I expected more flavor. It was all pretty bland. The birria taco was the best of the 3 that I got. (I got the 3 taco plate w/rice & beans). The taco al pastor was light in meat; again, bland. The Baja fish taco was unexpectedly flavorless for being advertised with habanero aioli. The birria taco was pretty good, but the “consommé” was a ramekin of broth with a respectable layer of fat.The rice, and the beans, were pointless to add. I’d skip them in the future. The rice was flavorless, and the beans tasted like they came straight from the can. It’s too bad, I was really looking forward to something outstanding, but I was really underwhelmed.
