Had a wonderful, authentically Mexican meal like I would find in CDMX. La quesabirria es delicioso! The service was wonderful and the Micheladas are worth it. Outside a flight to the Yucatan, you can't do much better than this neighborhood cocina at the end of Colfax. Look for the sugar skull mural, and you will have found it!

It's like a Mexican diner and they give decent proportions! I enjoyed the pork chop and eggs with green chile! Give it a try!

This unassuming building is full of treasure. And it's always packed and always has excellent, excellent service. Inexpensive, authentic, delicious entrees. KILLER DESSERTS. Gigantic margaritas. I'm just gonna dump my boyfriend bc you got all I need, baby.

This place is not fancy but the food was very good and the service was top-notch! Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. I don't live in this area but will definitely stop by the next time I find myself in that part of town.

I wanted to love this place. We were looking forward to it when we made plans to eat out. Homemade chips and salsa! Drinks are great! Nice, quiet, homey place. But the food ? not good. Sooo bland. No spice and not even a pinch of salt. Soggy mess, cheese wasn’t even melted. Too bad.

It was my first time visiting and the server, Fernando, made the experience worth writing a Five Star review. Not only was the food authentic and delicious, Fernando was attentive and incredibly respectful. I will absolutely come back for the Quesabirria and pozole.

NEW FAVORITE MEXICAN RESTAURANT!!!!??? I went in there not knowing what to expect, but I didn't expect what they had to offer:-- HUGE selection-- Great food-- Amazing taste-- Homemade pies/cakes-- Homemade ice cream-- Reasonably pricedAnd since it's only a block from my crib, I imagine I'll be going there often. (Especially for TACO TUESDAYS!!)

Portions were a bit small but very tasty. I ordered a cup of two items and was served each in a 4oz cup. I would go there again but just inquire if they are aware of the 4oz to 8oz half cup to cup ratio. It may be a very honest mistake.

I’ve been getting the breakfast burritos here for 3 years.. 10/10 and the nicest people you’ll ever meet. A hidden gem that’s starting to be not so hidden in Sloan’s Lake.
