Cool place. My sub was good but not $22 for one sub good. I’d recommend checking it out

1 of 1. Only place I've been in in Colorado that smells like a true Italian Delicatessen. Sandwiches are normal price in comparison to what they give you. The price matches the quality. Food is fresh with their own flavor you can't replicate. 10/10 and one of my favorite Italian spots in Denver!

Awesome sandwiches and Italian Dishes, great Italianmarket, but very expensive. The half sandwiches are around 5" and are more like sliders. If you want a sandwich that will fill you up you are looking at around $18-20 pre tax & tip for a sandwich.

Ordered takeout from here for the first time time. Below is “The Lou”, also ordered an Italian beef. The Italian beef came dry, with no au jus, which was disappointing. Now, $20 for a whole sandwich of this quality is incredibly overpriced. Jimmy John’s can equal the taste and give you more for your money. I really wanted to like this place, but sadly wouldn’t be able to recommend. Maybe I just didn’t try the right thing?

Great sandwich shop! I’ve only had the muffuletta and the hot Italian beef but both were delicious. The staff is always very kind and eager to answer any questions that you might have. Parking is problematic but hey, it’s Denver.

Rude as hell for no reason. I got to the store at 6:55pm JUST TO ASK A QUESTION about a future order and the ignorant employees shoo’d me away from inside and had already locked the doors- one who I believe is the owner/manager. Great way to treat returning customers and screw yourself out of any future business of mine.

This place is everything you want in a deli. The food slaps! Phenomenal sandwiches, the macaroni salad is amazing, the deserts are killer too! You get that deli attitude (lol) that tops off the experience. If you want an authentic vibe, Lou's is the spot!

I went because someone compared this place to the north end in Boston. Not even close. I got an Italian sandwich and the bread was hard on bottom and soggy on top. I also ordered deli meats and cheese. 1/4 pound provolone, 1/4 pound soppresata. The soppresata had 4 slices and literally would not even register on my kitchen scale. The provolone package was 3 times heavier.. we also ordered hot Italian beef and a turkey sandwich . The bread was not good and the turkey I was told tasted like parmesan. Since I live 20 minutes away I decided instead of complaining I’m just not going back. Carmines in Lakewood is superior to this place.
