I typically enjoy LBG. Today however was not quite the case. After a round of beers with a friend who I had been cycling with for the last couple hours I went to the bar to get another 2 beers. I was asked if I had a tab open and I said no and that I believe I had closed it out but wasn’t sure. The woman behind the bar asked my last name, looked and then told me I didn’t have a tab going. I said ok, then I’d like 2 Four Noses IPA’s. I went to pay with my phone via tap and she said I couldn’t open a tab with a tap and needed a card. Somewhere in here there must have been confusion because I kept saying I didn’t want to open a tab but rather just buy the 2 beers but she kept saying I could t open a tab with a tap payment. Ok, I get it. I just want 2 beers and I don’t want to run a tab and I just want to pay with my phone. This went round and round and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what she was talking about because I just wanted to pay for 2 beers just as I had done with my first 2 beers. Upon realizing there was some kind of a misunderstanding she slides me to talk drinks, maybe sours, that I clearly did not order and she says $20 something for the drinks. I said that’s not what I ordered so she pours the two beers I asked for and says she doesn’t think there was much of a price difference. But I can see on the board there is a price difference and I’d like change. She then tells me I’ll have to wait for her to take care of everyone in line before she can do that and the place is packed and it’s clear the beer line is not going to die down. I ask why I can’t just get change or a credit to my card and she says she just can’t do that but would I like a shot of Jameson. No, I don’t want a shot of Jameson for gods sake, I’m riding my bike which is clear from the bike garb I’m wearing. Do I want another beer? No I don’t want another beer. I just want my change from your incorrect entry. She then again says in her snarky bartender way that I can wait until the line dies down. I walked. This place is normally great. This bartender was not. How about some free fries, or a burger, or even a pretzel? I’m the customer. You made the mistake. Own it. Be accommodating. It’s called customer service. And don’t offer Jameson shots to people riding bikes or driving cars.? Next time I’ll hit up Denver Beer Company down the street.

One of my favorite spots in Lowry. Bring your friends, bring your dog, or bring both! The drinks deliver and having a full bar and rotting taps is a huge bonus. Food some of our favorite and we'll priced. Bonus for ice cream during the warm months.

If you ever want to relax under a B-52 bomber wing go here. The beer list is amazing and vast as is the food menu.

Forced 20% service charge for anything you purchase. All menu prices are not what you will really pay, very deceiving. Best part is there is no service. You go up and order your food, then they give you a pager so you can go fetch your own food and bring it to your table. Then you throw it all away yourself at the end. When I asked what the fee was for the bartender says so we can have a “living wage” and other improvements to the restaurant. Well that’s between the employees and their boss and the improvements, wow. Neither of those are my problem. But looking forward to the canned 1,000 word response from the owner about why it’s ok for the customers to subsidize their employees pay and improvements to their restaurant.

Food is consistently delicious--& service is top-notch. Despite being crazy busy on a Friday afternoon, when I went up to the counter with a question about my food (I received an incorrect order due to a misunderstanding at the register upon ordering), one of the guys at the register immediately, politely, & apologetically asked what I had ordered. Without pause, he put the update in with the kitchen, then handed me a new buzzer & gave me the incorrect sammich to take with me. Never missed a beat and didn't hold up any other lines/people. I sincerely appreciated the service & thoughtfulness that I received. Also, the bartenders are wicked fast and efficient...serving up some tasty beer ?Parking: Lots of free parking in the parking lot across the street. There's also plenty of parking along the street (both directions) all long the road in front of the beer garden.

Lowry Beer Garden is such a great spot to bring friends, family and especially dogs on a nice day! Always great local beers on tap, plenty of cocktails to choose from and the food menu is one of the best in town! The staff are wonderful and friendly and we especially love seeing Tommy around! Such a hard worker and a friendly face that always remembers us and treats us so well! Don’t hesitate to try this place out!

First off we seriously love this place. The food and atmosphere are spectacular. I definitely don’t consider it to be the most affordable place however and recently they have implemented a 20% service charge on your bill. Not a huge deal, BUT…..you seriously do everything yourself here. Walk up to order, walk back to get your food and drinks, take up your own garbage. This place is always packed and is not cheap so why should the customer pay a 20% tip when we have to do all the service aspects ourselves. With how busy and how expensive it is they could raise employee wages and not put the burden on the customer. This tip should 100% be optional. It just doesn’t make sense if you do everything yourself. Next time I will ask them to bring all the food and drinks to our table.

Ridiculous that the place charges a mandatory 20% tip when you go order your food and pick up your food and drinks from the counter. Why would they get a tip if they do nothing? Paid $30 for a burger, fries and a beer....will not be going back. Make the employer pay more not the customer.
