My partner and I were visiting from SD, and by far, their matcha stands out! I got the blueberry lavender matcha with oat milk, and my partner got the strawberry cheese cream. The lavender definitely overpowered the blueberry, but was good regardless. The strawberry was fresh, and the cheese cream just hits the spot!

Not your typical boba spot, in fact they don't even have boba. These guys have a passion for tea and are extremely knowledgeable about their craft. They have great teas and delicious mixes with unique flavors. When I spoke with the staff, I was informed that they make all of their syrups in house and really seem to value tea flavors over sugary drinks. Don't get me wrong, the horchatas are quite sweet, if that's your preference. They do mix their teas with milk, however they do not offer any boba as topping. I did enjoy their cheese topping. I recommend giving this place to try as an alternative to the usual boba spots. We have backless seating throughout the restaurant and it's quiet inside. Not really set up to stay for a long period of time, but you could sit and maybe have one drink.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Thai iced tea. Bright & modern location. Staff was friendly and put care and thought into each order. After reading the other reviews, I really want to try the strawberry fresca!

Really nice aesthetics and unique Asian inspired drinks. I love getting the ube jasmine sweet cream drink. The service is pretty intimate though because they make it in front of you and literally walk out to hand you the drink personally. There is limited seating, but I've been there multiple times and have never had to stand around to wait. I've tried many cafes in the area and hands down this is one I'd recommend to all my friends. I also enjoy their hojicha drinks which are delicious.

Wow! We were truly blown away. Out of the 14 cafes we tried in Colorado on our visit, this was our favorite. Get the hojicha vanilla sweet cream. The flavors are phenomenal and I am still thinking about it. The strawberry jasmine fresca was refreshing and yummy as well, but the jasmine flavor was very strong. The staff are pretty slow but the wait is worth.

Absolutely a must try drink spot in downtown Denver! These guys know what they're doing and they've earned their near perfect Yelp rating. This place stands out from the slough of boba and tea shops by sourcing authentic and organic ingredients, and then crafting the perfect beverage based on your drink preferences. If you order in-store or come down as they make your drink you may see an employee hand whisk and blend your drink. Highly recommend the Ube Jasmine Sweet Cream! The place is clean and hipster with an inviting staff that truly cares about the quality of their drinks and service.

The drinks and desserts here are phenomenal! We first found out about this place by accident 2 years ago and have been talking about returning when we had the chance. This time, we went back 4 times within the week LoL. Our favorite is ube jasmine sweet cream and strawberry fresca. Ube coconut wafchi is Fantastic too. Cashier and service is quick. The food/drink prep area look clean and sleek. There's an outside public restroom in the adjacent building. We'll definitely be returning the next time we're in Denver! Yum!

Stumbled upon this place during my trip to Denver and I'm really glad we had the chance to try it! I got the blueberry lavender matcha and it was soooo good. I kind of wish they had boba though but they don't but the drink itself was good. I wish there was one close to where I live so I can try the other drinks but I would definitely come back whenever I'm back in Denver.

Solid matcha location. They have a clean aesthetic and hot water tap for their matcha whisking. Service was quick and the aromas smelled nice. We got both Wafchi options. Matcha Wafchi came with fresh blueberries, sweeten condensed milk drizzle and blueberry lavender gelato. The Ube Wafchi came with coconut gelato with coconut flakes. I really liked the Matcha Wafchi flavor combination. The lavender gelato was refreshing. The Ube Wafchi with the coconut flavor reminded me of butter mochi. I also got a hot Uji Matcha latte. It was very floral and refreshing. Good matcha aftertaste without a lot of bitterness.

A friend and I came on a Saturday morning - they had a bit of a line but it moved pretty fast. We both got the strawberry matcha latte with oatmilk. The strawberry puree that they used is so delicious. It's super sweet and tastes super fresh. I also liked the milk that they used- it was creamy and light. I think the matcha on the other hand tasted quite muted and a bit watered down compared to other matcha lattes I've had. However, I would consider coming back again and trying one of their other unique flavors.

We found this place on Yelp when we were looking for boba spots in the area. Went over to the Union Station and found it was right around the corner so we went and it did not disappoint on this sunny day. Honestly, when I first walked in, it didn't look like a juice/milk tea spot. The space has a very chic look to it--like they were initially planning on selling designer brand infusers or overpriced succulent plants. Their menu is concise and easy to navigate. We ordered the blueberry lavender matcha latte and the strawberry Jasmine Fresca. Both were great and you can really taste the fruits and teas used. The girl who took our order was nice and helpful.

Milk Tea People is tucked away in a quaint urban shopping center in Downtown Denver, surrounded by various shopping stores and apartment complexes. With a garage-like opening, Milk Tea People immediately greets you with a minimalistic, Japanese-style interior and decor. The menu is simple to understand, with a lot of unique options that I had never seen before, including a Blueberry Lavender Matcha Latte and Vanilla Caramel Hojicha Latte. I opted to order the former and I couldn't have been more satisfied. As I saw my drink being prepared in front of me on their open counter, I could see the skill and care that each worker put into making my drink. Rather than just calling out my name, one of the workers walked out and personally handed my drink to me and reminded me to shake my drink fully. The Blueberry Lavender Matcha was a perfect mix of sweetness, earthiness, floral, and creaminess. All of the flavors balanced perfectly and the drink had the right amount of ice to cool me down on a hot day in Denver. If there was a location in Southern California where I am from, I would definitely frequent this place often!

Legit the best boba and dessert place I've ever had. We went here 2 days in a row because we were obsessed. Very reasonably priced and the decor was so cute, minimalist aesthetics. The Matcha and Ube Waffle Mochi (OMG) like heavenly. Honestly I crave this often.

The BEST matcha in Colorado. I work downtown and about a 5 minute walk from here, the vibes and decor are so fun. I always get the strawberry matcha and it is SO AMAZING. I always want to order two drinks for myself LOL The workers are always so kind and help.

Who knew the best hojicha latte would be tucked in an alleyway in downtown Denver? I was ready to give up finding a decent hojicha latte when I decided to give it one last shot at Milk Tea People based on reviews. And the reviews were right: the Hojicha Vanilla Sweet Cream is delicious and the best hojicha latte I have ever tried. It is sweet and creamy, with that deep hojicha taste. It does not taste watered down or too earthy. The balance is perfect. My friends also enjoyed the strawberry matcha and the matcha wafchi. The blueberry lavender matcha had a very fragrant floral taste for the lavender. .
