I agree with another reviewer about the ramen - the broth was very bland! I ordered the vegetarian version and was very disappointed. It tasted like unflavored veggie stock with mixed frozen vegetables dumped in (button mushrooms, broccoli, carrots). I also got the tempura appetizer and it came with 3 pieces of shrimp, 4 pieces of broccoli, and 1 sliced sweet potato. It felt like they weren't even trying with these menu items. :/I'm rating at 3 stars because the servers were kind and friendly, the tea was good, and my friend got the sushi and it looked MUCH better than what I got. I would try again just for the sushi, but definitely wouldn't get the ramen again.

Really wanted to like this place because I live in the neighborhood and have been trying to find a local ramen/sushi spot. Went there for a bowl of ramen, got back home and developed a sharp pain in my stomach about 30 minutes later that didn't go away until the next day. My friend ordered a different ramen dish and had similar stomach issues. On top of that, my bill was $23.36. I left a $5 tip, so the total was $28.36, and I kept the receipt. However, when I was checking my credit card statement, I realized that I was charged $29.36. Now, I don't care about $1 difference, but that's just a shameful business practice. I guess I got 'lucky' they didn't 'add' more to my bill. Beware!

Sushi lunch was good flavor and good price, volcano ramen was good, not spicy though. Good spot if you live in the neighborhood. Could go without the pop music though. The gyoza were fantastic, definitely get those.

Was craving some sushi for a late lunch but I ended up having their seafood ramen which was divine! ? Their takoyaki was piping hot as well. My only disappointment is the portion size of the takoyaki. But nevertheless, I had a wonderful experience here and the best ramen I had tasted! I plan on visiting again soon for more takoyaki and their sushi rolls. And perhaps try some sake as well! ???

This was a disappointing experience. I ordered 2 rolls (spicy tuna and AAC - avo, asparagus, cucumber) and 2 orders of nigiri (albacore and red snapper) and the most edible was the AAC role. The nigiri was a dry, strange texture, I could not swallow it. The waitress (who was very kind) apologized and explained to me that I, "must be a person who prefers GOOD fish; these are frozen so that's why..." Shouldn't we all want "good fish?" To my understanding a lot of sushi fish is frozen, but this looked and tasted like perhaps it had been frozen and thawed improperly? Anyway, if you order from here, I would recommend staying away from the nigiri/sashimi and just doing some veg rolls or cooked rolls. Also the owner decided to not comp me, which is what it is.

Read the negative reviews and they didn’t fit my experience at all. Food was hot and seemed fresh. Server was friendly and checked on us frequently.
I had driven by this place many times and finally went in. The service was great. I had the spicy miso ramen and karaage and it tasted great. I'll probably come back to try other ramen and sushi.
