Have dined at OC many times in the past, as we live in the neighborhood. One of our favorites is the Chicken Tenders. Last night three of the four in our party had the Chicken Tenders and we were very disappointed. They were a smaller portion than usual and they were very dry, due to either being over cooked or sitting under a heat lamp for way too long is my guess. Also the fries that are served with them were cold. I wanted to send my meal back but my wife insisted on not creating a fuss. The more I thought about it the more angry I became with myself for not sending it back. I don’t mind paying a premium for good food & service but when you receive the food we were served it makes me mad. We each had a cocktail along with our entree and the bill before tip was $81.08 for two. Next time I’ll go to Chix-fil-A and save enough money to fill my gas tank.

I have been to Officers Club many times over the years. The food and atmosphere are excellent!! However, the service is never good. I have rarely been greeted with smile and all the servers always appear unhappy. There is manager, who has a beard, that often times seats guests. He never seems happy to have people enter the restaurant. I would love to go here more often but they really need a service revamp.

The food was not worth the price. The stroganoff was so-so. The pasta was badly overcooked like glue.

Bad start for our first (and last) visit. The hostess seated us in a literally empty dining room (we had 4:15 reservations) at a small round table. We asked if we could move to one of the booths that were set for 2 people. "Oh, no; we expect a bunch of large parties". Note: some of the booths were set for 4, some for 2. Halfway through our service, she seated another couple (that is, 2 people) in the booth across from us. We thought maybe they were waiting for 2 more to show; but nope, they ordered, got their meals and were eating; no sign of others. Our server was fine but the hostess stabbed us in the back. We won't be back.

Sadly, the Officers Club is another example of a local independent restaurant that has figured a way to gouge its customers for extra fees to pay kitchen help. Beware - the prices listed on the menu do not represent what you will be billed. Instead of paying their employees themselves they add a fee onto the back end to do that. Then - they expect you to tip your server on top of this fee. The servers are trained to tell you that if they raise the prices on the menu (honest billing) then only the servers make more on tips and nothing for the kitchen help. But the owners of this restaurant aren’t exactly destitute. What they are really doing is putting the customer in between the wait staff and the kitchen help. They are counting on the fact you’ll swallow this fee and not reduce your tip to whatever you feel fair as a customary total tipping percentage. That way the get you to pay more for your total bill while ownership enjoys their mansions or yachts or whatever else they wish to wndulgemin - because THEY can afford to indulge while their kitchen staff, wait staff, and customers cannot. Please boycott all Denver area restaurants like this one that engage in this sneaky business practice - and if you do eat there don’t feel obliged to keep tipping at the same rate you would a restaurant that treats you with more respect.

Southern Flair Meets Casual Elegance at Officers Club!Officers Club in Lowry strikes the perfect balance between upscale dining and a welcoming neighborhood vibe. The prices? Surprisingly friendly for the quality you get. Their southern buttermilk fried chicken tenders are simply addictive, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. And the short rib stroganoff? It's a burst of rich flavors, especially with the fresh pasta.Don't miss their fantastic happy hour—it's one of the area's best. Whether you're planning a cozy date night or a lively brunch with friends, Officers Club offers a family-friendly atmosphere with just the right touch of sophistication. This place is a Lowry essential, perfect for any occasion!?
