It's usually a nice place. Last Wednesday I came by for a beer and the guy at the bar charged me $20 for a coors light. I had to look at my bank statement to find that out. I wouldn't use card here

This place was so unique and nice our bartender provided the best service we went during a bar crawl and the bartender dressed as avengers had the coolest personality and made the best drinks within seconds will definitely be going back!

We stopped by this unique, modern, yet home-feeling bar after a Comedy Works show and it was a lovely experience. The lighting and overall décor is classy and classic. "Harry Potter" style bathroom doors hidden behind bookshelves - what a cute touch! The bouncer was so incredibly sweet, the bartender was friendly, and the drinks were delicious. I was surprised how easy it was to snag a little table at 9:30 on a Friday. Thanks for a great experience!

The atmosphere gives off dimly lit modern library vibes. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive! I ordered the Aviation and the Bees Knees. Both drinks were quality with well balanced tasting notes. Great spot for a couple laid back cocktails.

I would absolutely have given this place a five star review were it not for the absolutely deafening music. Wasn't able to converse with anyone, yet the environment really lends itself to being able to unwind and catch up with friends. The drinks were completely wonderful, I'd happily recommend the Strawberry Patch cocktail to anyone. The waitstaff is genuinely kind and attentive, everyone I spoke to was an absolute gem. The management could just benefit from realizing that this is a bar and not a club.

They charged me over $14 for a drink they couldn't come close to making correctly. Pffft, how difficult is a Brandy old fashioned to make??

We love the way the bar looks! The library theme is pretty cool. We came in on a Saturday evening around 7 pm. The bartenders were too busy to acknowledge us unless we came to them. We even sat at the bar and the bartenders were more interested in grabassing their coworkers than attending to customers. They were even broadcasting to the bar patrons that the bartenders were hungover. Great potential here with the right crowd.

The bar tenders are more concerned about talking to each other and ignoring customers. The bar back took my empty glass and two bartenders were standing behind him and its been 5 minutes and they are still talking and no drink. On to the next bar which wants to stay in business. Now the task of closing the tab.

Great staff & ambiance. Physical space is a bit tight and too many windows for a speakeasy.

Roosevelt is a super cool classy casual spot on 15th street. I've walked by a hundred times and finally stopped in for a quick drink with a friend. The menu was kick ass but since my eyes were a bit heavy I opted for the classic espresso martini. In my opinion one of the best in Denver! It was thick and creamy and served its purpose of propping us up before dinner and drinks with some friends. When we came in it was pretty empty (given it was fairly early) but they had awesome tunes & even better service. Neatly hidden bathroom doors behind huge library-style bookshelves and all-around sweet decor and vibe.
