Ordered online and requested items such as half gallon of milk, they delivered 2 x half gallons at 50% discount with three days expiration date. So I basically paid the same price, but received something that I didn't want that would expire way before I could use it. They also left many items off the list and replaced items with similar products. Have tried this service 4-5 times now to see if it was a once of, but it has been horrible every time.

The Safeway was absolutely stupid. The layout is ridiculous. The bathrooms are right as you walk in the main doors. Everything about the store was annoying and irritating. I don't know who is running the show, but they need fired because they're doing a horrible job at whatever it is that they're doing

The staff are kind but this is by far the worst grocery store possibly on earth; before moving to this area putting in some headphones and getting my errands done was enjoyable now it feels like an active war zone; and the parking lot is full of casualties. It's dirty, smelly, understaffed, and horrible lighting

The staff are very nice, but this place is dirty and severely understaffed. Every time I come here I have to wait in a 10-15 minute line check out. Not to mention this grocery store has the highest prices around often more expensive than Whole Foods. You'd think with the extra money from their price gouging they'd be able to afford more staff. Do not shop here you are wasting your time and money.

The worst part of any day is braving the vagrant-infested shopping center to shop at this terrible, terrible establishment. I gave an extra star because employees are nice. Theres no other redeeming value to this place

According to the label, my 93% lean ground beef was packed on 08/31/23.I bought it Monday evening, 08/28/23.Now I get to go to the Unsafeway again. Between the constant lack of cashiers, crime inside and outside the store, and now this, I AM DONE.

I was once told by the HR rep that this is the #1 store in the District. Yesterday, there was there drunk lady squating outside on the curb urinating w/her dog next to her. The dog looked more embrassed then her. The crime rate & drug trafficking is at its best. The entrance to the store is stained from some kind of liquid, so if you didn't have it going in. You will be taking a piece of it out. Sexual Harassment by their Seafood Manager constantly, Astra. Police reports have been filed. D. Nugeyn from District 6 knows of it.

I used to feel unsafe at this supermarket buying groceries but then I realized it's a much better and safer place to just sell drugs and start fights. If you have a problem with that find me in the parking lot.

I absolutely hate coming here. I used to look forward to grocery shopping every week until this Safeway became my local store. Due to the group consistently loitering, cat calling, heckling, etc. outside, I will only ever come here in broad daylight for safety reasons, yet still get creeped out; walking through the parking lot is never comfortable. The meat and deli counters are both struggles. Any time I have ordered something from the deli counter, nobody has been in line ahead of me, and I have still consistently waited about 7-12 minutes for the staff to prepare a simple order like a pound of deli Turkey. On more than one occasion, I have ordered chicken breasts from the meat counter, only to come home and find they are rancid, same day as purchase. One time an individual working in the meat department actually told me not to eat the chicken that was packaged for me by another individual behind the counter. Big yikes. Don't be surprised if your produce is moldy once you get home either. Inventory on the app is rarely up to date, so you can't trust that something showing as "in stock" on the app is anywhere to be found in the store. Then again, actually finding an employee to ask is a feat in and of itself. I've walked out of here empty handed multiple times because I simply couldn't find a staff member to help me find what I was looking for. Only reason for the 2 stars is the savings available through the app, but that's really a nod to corporate and not to this location.

This Safeway is dirty in the outside with a lot of people hanging/living out front. Inside is a little better but has the feel that you are about to get stabbed in aisle 4. I would not go back unless I had no choice.

I don't think I have ever been to this location and not seen someone being taken out in hand cuffs. To any new neighbors, the neighborhood has dubbed this place "unsafeway". Do something about the massive group of gang bangers you have outside. To have 25 men dressed in blue outside your store isn't a great look. Also never buy produce here it's almost always rotten and there is always a lingering smell of mold in the store. This place has some how progressively gotten worse over the years, it isn't safe and there are no carts because they are constantly being stolen..

I have been going to this Pharmacy for many years. I have not had any issues until Jonathan the new pharmacist arrived. Since then every time I call to ask questions are call to fill my pain medication prescription I am treated like some type of drug addict. I understand that we live in a country that has a opiate epidemic but it does not give pharmacist like Jonathan the right to treat disabled poor women like myself like we have no worth and don’t deserve respect. I called last week to check on the date I could feel my prescription and Jonathan was in a good mood and he told me the day I could come and that I could call that morning and he would feel it would no problem when I called him this morning to fill that prescription he continued with the use of profanity and raised his voice at me saying that it would take him hours to get the prescription filed and that if I didn't like it I could go to another pharmacy. He then hung up on my face. I called him back at 10:30 to ask when I could get the prescription he proceeded to tell me that he called my doctor's office and told them he would no longer fill for me and that he had canceled my prescription and that he would not fill my prescription today either and I was asking him why he was treating me this way, what had I done to him or anyone there to get treated this way he never gave me a answer he just hung up on my face. This is how black women get treated in gentrified neighborhoods from these gay white men. It is so unfair and I did not deserve his disrespect I did not I deserve the suffering he has causing me so I at the very least had to speak my mind and let others know about my experience.
