I’m not sure how this place can receive a 5 star. The bread was dry and crumbly. I ordered a macaroni salad and didn’t even get forks, probably because they have a 10 year old running the register and doesn’t realize to include forks or napkins. 17$ for a mediocre (at best) sandwich? And the best part is the automatic 22% tip for “happy people” or whatever. Are you serious? You literally did nothing but make a gross sandwich. $30 total for one sandwich, bag of chips, a side (that’s supposed to be and extra $1), and a $5 automatic tip. Like that makes sense? You are not a restaurant. You’re fast casual small business. Makes ZERO sense. Do not waste your money on this monstrosity.

I have never had anything bad from there. Just had French Dip and was worth it!

Would have been the best french dip ever, but this place prefers to ruin it with mayo. Maybe a small sign saying what is covered in mayo would help folks who cannot eat raw eggs and oil. Had to throw my food away and was on a 10 hour flight. Ir was a great waste of $26.00.

Review applies to the airport location, but if my experience there is applicable to this location, this has to be the worst possible sandwich around. Nearly $20 for a 6 inch sandwich with Sysco deli mean and a few basic condiments on some dry bread. What an utter joke.

They charged a 22% creating happy people charge on my bill. How about you pay your employees better instead of passing it on to the customer? 22% for a pickup is crazy.

Food is great but.... 22% TIP for counter service. This is robbery!! They are creating unhappy customers with thier "creating happy people 22% tip." If you want to charge this fee I shouldn't have to walk to the counter for my refill.

Very overpriced sandwiches and bad service. First, I asked the cashier if they have hot tea, she said only iced meanwhile im looking on the left of her and there are 3 boxes of different tea bags, she mumbled something when I pointed that out and still didn’t offer me tea. Second, 22% mandatory service fee, are you kidding me? How about paying the employees more and giving customers an option to tip whatever they think is appropriate based on service which was AWFUL. Finally, 2 sandwiches are not worth 47$ we paid for them.

Always hit or miss with Salt & Grinder. Ordered 2 to-go sandwiches a while back, they gave us the complete wrong sandwiches. Ordered a chicken parm one time - came with almost no red sauce on it, and they did not include the side that came with the overpriced sandwich. Today, I went (I think for a final time) and ordered their Spicy Turkey sandwich to-go. I am a 3 minute walk from the restaurant- pulled the sandwich out and it was completely soggy and limp. Have gone too many times at this point with high expectations.

Paid $17 for a sandwich that was a step up from airport grab and go.The bread was incredibly dry, and the whole thing was so bland. I've never had an Italian sandwich that was so flavorless. If you removed the lettuce and tomato, any child would have been as content with it as buttered noodles. I wished I had tried something different, but I doubt I'll go back. Maybe their hot sandwiches are better? The bread though. So thick, so dry. Their portions are large and you can easily share a sandwich with another adult. The service was okay. A little surly, but they split our shared sandwich to separate plates without us asking. They even cut the pickle in two pieces.

Delicious! French Dip is lovely! Fries are hot and salty - our new favorite sandwich spot. Food has been consistent the last 3 times we have been in on the weekend!
