Last meal at Tables, so sad. So many great memories here. You will be missed! Thanks for choosing Park Hill as your home throughout the years.

Great family owned restaurant with even better food. As an appetizer - we had oysters and for entrees, we had their spring rainbow trout special and scallop risotto. All which were amazing! Not photographed but the s’mores dessert was perfect (pro tip - ask to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream).

In what was once a storefront with angle parking out front. Eclectically decorated with old doors, mismatched furniture, a barn door. Menu, which changes seasonally, has about 8 entrees with considerable variety (fish, seafood, beef, pork, lamb, chicken) and about 8 or 10 starters, also with wide variety. Entrees mostly in mid-$30's, starters around $10 - $12, glass of wine about $15. Wine list seems pretty good, but I am not a fine wine expert. Our server - don't remember his name - was terrific. Between us we had sweetbreads, halibut, scallops, lamb loin, and Romaine leaf. All excellent. Sorry to hear another reviewer had a bad experience with an unruly patron - we found the place to be quiet and friendly.

Short drive from our hotel in Denver and well worth it. Service was friendly and spot on and all appetizers and entrees were top shelf and were very flexible on dishes.

I have supported this neighborhood restaurant for years. Last night at Tables for dinner with friends, I tried to talk with the owner Amy about an incident that happened in January. Three friends and I had just finished eating in their outdoor tent and a group of four men came in and sat behind us and were extremely boisterous and appeared to be drunk. They began ordering more alcohol and were so loud that our table and the one next to us couldn't hear ourselves talk. I so very nicely asked the fellow behind my chair, "Would you mind keeping it down a bit, we can't hear ourselves talk." He then screamed at me, "You whore, tone it down yourself!" My friend then said to him, "Don't call my friend names" and he said, "Shut-up your B****** At that point our waitress was shaking and said, "Let me get the manager." The maybe 25 year-old female manager came in and both our table and the other table bothered asked that these men be asked to leave because of their drunken behavior. She was clearly over her head and didn't know how to handle it. I asked to see the owner and she said, "They are in Hawaii." The Manager then asked if the rowdy table would like to be relocated inside the restaurant, and they gladly agreed, much to all of our chagrin. As I mentioned all this to Amy last night she was extremely defensive which shocked me. I said I felt her manager needed better training about handling difficult patrons and she said, "I think it was handled perfectly." I then mentioned the liability in continuing to serve alcohol to drunk, disorderly patrons and she shrugged and said, I'm too busy to talk with you and will come and find you later which never happened. I will not be returning to a restaurant where rudeness and incivility is tolerated and condoned. They offered to comp our dessert, which we didn't have and later at the urging of the other nice table, they comped our dinner, which we didn't want them to do...we wanted the immature, outrageous patrons asked to leave.

My husband I adore this restaurant. I used to come here many years ago when I lived in Park Hill and we make sure to have dinner here whenever we are in town. We were just there last night, and were delighted as always. Our server was amazing, the food was top notch, and we can't wait to have dinner here next time we are in town.

Eating at Tables is like a journey into your backyard garden where you pick whatever is ripe, put it on a plate, and call it dinner. At first blush, this sounds like a magical experience until you realize that a random mish-mash of fresh ingredients tastes exactly like a "suicide" fountain soda when you put every flavor of soda into a single cup. The flavors are awkward, confusing, incoherent, and at times offensive. I found myself questioning why ingredients were included, and why the dish didn't taste better. It didn't make sense. The food was unpolished, unperfected, and HEAVILY salted. There was no clear vision or presentation. It seemed like the chef attempted to challenge themselves to the creative prowess found at 3 star Michelin restaurants but lacked the ability to perform anywhere close to that level. If you love paying fine dining prices to eat out of your backyard garden then look no further but if you are an epicurean then I recommend eating at Chipotle instead. Edit: Spoke with one of the owners and had the vision of the dishes explained. While I still disagree with its execution, I understand the perspective it is coming from and I appreciate the amount of thought that went into them.

Every time I have friends come to town- we head straight to Tables. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, they accomidate all types of food quirks (like this vegetarian) and the place is warm and comfortable. And the food- oh my gosh, everything from the table brads to the soups to the entrees- every single detail is considered- and it is all amazing. Highly reccomend!

Excellent food and service. The pricier end but worth it when you're looking for that sort of meal. The tuna tartare is the best item on the menu, but nothing I've tried falls short.

Amazing dinner at Tables. They have simple menu of basics but elevated. We started with tuna tartare followed by Scallops on risotto and the most amazing roasted chicken. All the flavors and tastes were done so well. For dessert we had the elevated s'more which was delicious. Will definitely be back.

We had a great dinner experience at Tables. It's a really neat setup inside the restaurant - very rustic, cozy feel. The service was friendly and swift. We started with the burrata as an appetizer, alongside a cocktail. Both were excellent. One usually can't go wrong with burrata, but Tables does a particularly good job; the prosciutto was a good touch. We had the scallops and the pork for our entrees, and we were impressed. This is a splendid neighborhood restaurant that I wouldn't mind recommending to my friends.

One of my favorite places to eat. The food is excellent and the environment is cozy and intimate. The servers are some of the best and are always enjoyable and are prompt it taking care of you. I highly recommend taking a trip to this small neighborhood restaurant.

We were finally able to eat at tables after having to cancel a reservation just before COVID hit. It was worth the wait. My wife's scallops and polenta were wonderful. I had the Restaurant Week menu and every course was delicious. We ate at Corinne the restaurant currently rated #1 above Tables a few months ago. There is no comparison. Corinne is a 3 or 31/2 compared to Tables.

Unfortunately, they've chosen to underpay their back of house staff and institute mandatory service fees to pay their wages. If they built their wages into the food prices the staff would get paid the same every night; which anyone who has ever cleaned a grill would appreciate. I won't be back. Food was ok, the service was uneven -- good at first but became inattentive. It was a slow night.
