A perfect spot after a nice hike. I love the variety of food and drink options. Huge bonus that the patio is dog friendly! Only downside is side is that it's a little pricey.

Our group of 20 stopped by last night later in the evening and for many of us it was our first time. Super friendly staff, very patient in explaining how the card and serving stations worked...very cool all around. They have excellent and different beers, wine, and Margaritas. I'm also very appreciative when a bar has multiple NA beers and they have at least 5 in cans and NO O'Douls which is nasty AF. Food wasn't available as it was close to last call. Definitely will look forward to going back!!

First time visiting and will not be the last!! We had a great time pouring or own drinks, hanging out by the fire pits and enjoying the views of North Table Mountain. You basically check in, receive a card that allows you to pour your own drinks and buy food and at the end of the night, you receive your receipt. You can opt to immediately check out when you leave so you are not wondering how much you actually spent all night. There is plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating with fire pits. There is also a rooftop with more outdoor seating with fire pits. The golden mill has two drink pouring stations including water. They offer wine, cocktails and beer. They also have food options including BBQ, Tacos, Hot Chicken and ice cream. The food could have been a lot better, flavor wasn't the best and the food tasted old. This was brought to the managers attention and they made sure to notify the cooks and took care of us as well. We really appreciated that. 10/10 for customer service. The manager notified us that they want to be made aware of things like this so that they can improve in those areas and be better than before. Overall, we had a great experience. And a huge shout out to Maria and Leo, you both are doing an incredible job running this place and making sure everyone is satisfied! Thank you for all your hard work!

Great Place. Highly Recommend Large parties would work great. Huge patio. Lots of food and booze choice.

Well, well well what can I say? The golden mill is definitely the place to be especially on a weekend. Live bands, music, hustle and bustle of people. Everyone is just there enjoying the different restaurant and vendor options. Well mannered pets are welcome on a leash. This gives the Colorado vibe all the way. Everyone was so friendly, it's like a giant backyard cousins barbecue. You can definitely go in comfortable attire here. Absolutely love this place. I will definitely visit again.

My friend took me here and holy shit it was cool. They have self serve beer and wine by the ounce, and a couple separate food options to choose from. This is a super easy place to have a large group together as everyone is paying separately for whatever they want. The space itself is huge - indoor space as well as tons of outdoor patio space on the bottom and top floors. The top floors have fire pits. We ended up getting a sushi roll, and it was surprisingly good! I'm not big into fish in land locked zones, but they did really well. All the servers and staff were super friendly, especially to us who had no idea what we were doing when we first walked in. 12/10 would come again.

The golden mill is a great concept, a little confusing at first but a fun spot to have a few drinks and sit by the river.

Wow! This service concept should be everywhere! You go in and attach a payment method to your personal "golden mill" card. You then have the option of 4 different amazing restaurants and beer, wine, seltzer self serves all around. You pay per ounce of alcohol. Theoretically you could sample all the drinks for a great price! I tried Sushi Sora and Taco Al Chile happy hour specials and they were phenomenal. Also, the outdoor area is so cozy in the winter with ample seating and fire pits. The only thing I didn't like is the 18% automatic service charge on your entire bill, I don't think there should be a fee for pouring your own beer.

Very interesting concept! I look forward to coming back in summer when its warm enough to sit outside. Came here on a Saturay for lunch and it was pretty packed inside. Seemed a bit expensive for everything. Especially the sodas. The food was tasty and came out so fast. I think I need to come back and give this spot another try with more people. I took off a few stars because the tables were all shaky. I was nervous the drinks were going to spill on the high tops and parking was very limited. We had to park a few blocks up. I will give this place another go in sumemer! Overall 3/5 stars

This is a fun, feel-good food experience. They offer lots of delicious options with plenty of choices for self-seating. They create a warm and cozy environment. I especially loved that they had ice cream. I plan to go back solely on the merits of the sweet cream ice cream plus the overall ambiance. The only drawback is that it's a tad pricey, so budget it into your spending!

Very expensive, beer was good, food was mediocre... nice views but can get crowded... try it but know that they charge for service despite being a food court style place.

Stopping by here was a highlight of our time in Golden! We loved the cafeteria style concept with the card for ease of payment and organization. The beer selection was great, the food choices excellent, and the staff was super friendly. It did end up being a little more price wise than we expected but we were super happy overall with our experience! Amazing views as well.

Great ambiance for a food hall on a Saturday-- I can see why people would use this place to pregame/eat before going out. I saw people of all ages on a Saturday at 3pm, including a ton of cute doggos outside. For the food: I had the 1 meat plate from rolling smoke-- and the burnt ends were awesome. The Mac n cheese was also great-- but the coleslaw was pretty unappetizing with little to no sweetness and way too much salt. Anyway since it's a small side i disregarded it when factoring it into this review. In sum I recommend the burnt ends and DO NOT recommend the coleslaw as a side. The drinks by the oz were a self-pour, and fairly cheap compared to Denver. The espresso martini was around ~1.68 per oz, so you can easily walk out with an 8 dollar martini which is fairly good. The cleaning staff were very efficient on a busy Saturday, check-in staff were very friendly, and I got my food in under 5 minutes. Overall-- definitely a good pit stop on the way back from a day in the mountains.

Had a couple of hours to spare while on the tail end of a Denver trip. Stopped into the visitors center in downtown golden and was recommended this spot. Incredible space nestled right on the creek running through the middle of Golden. The rooftop gives great views of the Coors factory. Food hall located in offers a variety of cuisines to make anyone in your group happy. Huge selection of beers and ciders from local breweries, but be ready, you pour your own beverage and pay by volume. The staff is friendly and willing to help you learn how to pour your own beer. Definitely a fun place to pop in to if you have an hour to spare!

Enjoyed our first trip to the Green Mill, as I love Golden and heard good enough things about the venue to make it a point to explore it. The only tricky part is parking. This part of Golden has few spots, but they directed to a size a block say. We luckily found an even closer space. Great vibe inside, with four or five options, and the opportunity to grab a Mill Card do place every thing on one card. Food Hall makes for a positive experience, lot of mingling and energy. Loved the outdoor terrace and balcony on a cooler night due to fireplaces and heaters. We enjoyed Happy Cones as our lone food group due to a lengthy day, and they never disappoint, as Maggie helped us with a pair of their superb products in a cup. Happy Dust prevailed also. We will come back when we as able to eat a meal and have multiple ideas about which new are the winners!
