Food is terrible, this place came highly recommended so we tried it multiple times. The food is not authentic and extremely overpriced. There is lettuce and sour cream in the burritos, and the food was not fresh. Last straw on things was finding multiple chunks of fat in the carne asada burritos.

The food was very expensive, and tasteless, and the saddest thing was that it was very bad service and the hygiene was terrible, everything was dirty, the containers where they have the cutlery are super dirty and the cutlery without any hygiene protection, where they have the horrible dirty sauces, it was a bad experience ;(

Everybody has different tastes and different styles of food they like. Mexico has a lot of traditional dishes and ways of making the food depending on the state you are from. As an Example: Mendo ( if you are from Jalisco you won’t see hominy in it, but if you are from the far north (Chihuahua) you will be expecting it. With that being said this place has good tacos and their meats are well seasoned and cooked. The services at lease in my experiences has always been excellent.

Tried this place for the first time, ordered the taco plate. It took almost 30 mins to get my food after ordering. Got Al pastor, lengua and tripas. Tacos were good size, rice was warm but the beans were cold; which makes no sense. How do you serve cold beans???? One of the tacos was not what I had ordered. Didn’t even know what type of meat it was. Honestly I wouldn’t come back here, if you want a decent WARM meal don’t come here.

Tacos DF is still mind blowingly good after all these years. I try to eat here at least twice a month because it's so good and satisfying. The barbacoa lamb is one of the best things humans have ever created. Update: it's still amazing.
