The spice fries were the best fries I have ever eaten. Bison burger was delicious ?

Service was great. Our first burger came out with bacon. We do not eat pork. The waitress said it was cheese. I guess we don't know what a sliver of bacon looks like. My Impossible burger was mushy. Btw it is the same patty as Burger King. Don't waste the 13 for it. The Nashville Hot wings were smashing tho.Next time we are in town we may give them a chance to redeem themselves. Idk.Btw the remake burger was great. The decor is very nice. I think we just had a bad experience. Hopefully l, next time we will change this to a 5 star ?

My wife and I thought the burgers were phenomenal. The "Members Only" burger I had was well crafted and very tasty. I appreciate the fact that the burgers weren't giant hunks of ground beef sandwiched between a bun with random toppingsI also ordered the buffalo style chicken wings and they were very good. I thought the sauce on the wings were a little too 'hot-saucy' and not exactly buffalo hot sauce, if that make sense, but regardless they were still way better than other places that serve wings. If anything just chalk that criticism up to me originating from western New York and being picky about wings. The vibe was cool, beer was good, parking wasn't bad and its next to an ice cream place to go for desert. We will return for sure.

Troy, Troy, Troy what have you done? How could you take your eye off the ball like this? I once thought this was a fantastic concept--extremely well-executed--but, it has really gone downhill. The first disappointment was that the staff was not wearing masks, contrary to the commitments on the Web site. That left me wondering how many of the other Health and Safety rules were being ignored. The one rule that was definitely not being ignored was the 3.5% surcharge on my bill for back-of-house and health/safety expenses, though. My next frustration was QR codes. The restaurant provides a menu-sized, laminated page with a QR code as the only way to access the menu and wine list. Hey Troy, guess what? Not everyone has a full battery on their cell phone, or a QR reader, or constant Internet access, or a large enough screen to see tiny print, or any number of other things needed to comply with this mandate. Perhaps you could post a sign that says, "No Smartphone, No Service," just to clarify things.A thorough search of the restaurant finally produced what we were told was the ONLY (outdated) printed copy of the menu. No list of beverages, so we ended up with drinks that we really didn't want after an unsatisfactory interaction with the server.I was again disappointed to see that one of my favorites, the sweet potato fries, had vanished from the menu. We tried the onion rings instead. They were excellent, perfectly battered, piping hot, very fresh, and delicious. I also enjoyed the buttermilk ranch dipping sauce. We then moved on to burgers.I ordered one of my favorite combinations: an Angus burger with Swiss, grilled onions, and sauteed mushrooms. I was accustomed to getting fat, juicy, flavorful burgers here. Wow, has that changed. I received a wimpy, flat patty that was well done, instead of the medium rare I had requested. The portions of cheese, onions, and mushrooms were equally skimpy. What a disappointment. I should have sent it back, but I was hungry, so I ate it. It wasn't terrible, but not the quality I was expecting. My date fared better with her creation: an Angus burger with Pueblo green chilies, smashed avocado, and balsamic glaze. Her burger was properly medium rare and she said it was quite tasty. This was her first visit, so she had no basis for comparison to past glories.Troy, I don't understand why you have let this great place deteriorate so badly. Maybe business is OK and you just don't care or you have taken on so many things that you just don't have the time to pay attention here. I'm very sad.

Burger was wonderful! Had the Tijuana and it had just the right amount of spice. Staff were very nice and helpful. Definitely return.

Great food, awesome beer selection!! Hidden gem. Can't wait to come back for some truffle fries with that delicious burger of the month.

We stopped in here to eat dinner after sauntering through the Denver Botanic Garden. We were seated immediately and our server was fast and efficient. We each ordered customized bison burgers, which were tasty, and shared a side of truffle fries, which were really really tasty.

Burgers were quite underwhelming for the pricey bill - not juicy and flavorless for everyone in my group (and we even had a rabge of bison, beef and mushroom patties). Also all except one of their topping options have cheese, which I can't have. I got the Old School toppings and they wouldn't let me replace cheese with another topping. They charged me a whole $2 extra to add (a measly amount of) mushrooms. They put little TAG sauce on so overall there wasn't any additional flavor either. Cornbread was pretty good if you like sweeter cornbread - it was very decadent and like dessert. I liked the fried pickles but my friends found them to be extremely salty. Overall we were looking for something satisfying after a day of hiking and this place's disappointing burgers missed the mark.

I liked it! I had a chicken burger with a beer. They have an extensive collection of local beers on tap you rarely see anywhere else. The buns had a nice springy soft texture and taste homemade. The chicken was solid, as were the fries. I'd order it again. I would come back again, not just for the beer selection, but to try the other burgers.

My wife and I have been craving a good burger for some time and decided to take a friend to try TAG Burger Bar. The bar was mildly busy with a couple of TVs playing football, and the staff were friendly - a nice little bar. When it came to the food, however, the experience was elevated. Honestly, these were the best burgers we have had in a very long time. I got the burger of the month featuring hatch green chili’s, my wife got the Members Only with bacon and avocado, and our friend got a bison Truffle Shuffle with mushrooms and (you guessed it) truffle aioli. We also tried the Truffle Parm Fries, which were phenomenal. And to wrap up our decadent dinner, we had some delicious, hand-made chocolate shakes. This was the perfect cheat meal for our burger craving, but (by choice) heavy on calories. We will definitely be back.

TAG has solid burgers and sides (fried pickles are A+). It can sometimes be loud in there and it's very family friendly, but easy to grab a spot at the bar. Some interesting cocktails and a good beer list that changes frequently.

Really good Homemade Milk Shakes. Burgers were ok. The bison patty was a little too dry/well cooked (but I'm also not sure if temperature can be adjusted).

Meh. We were all super excited to try TAG based on the reviews, but it didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The burgers were on the small side and even though we all ordered rare-medium, all four of them arrived over cooked and dry.On the plus side, the service was quick and efficient and our waiter was great! The fries and onion rings were also super fresh and crisp. It’s really too bad that the burgers couldn’t quite keep up. If I’m looking for a good burger in town, I probably wouldn’t come back.
