I really wanted to love this place, I just couldn’t. I guess my standards are higher than everyone that rated this place.Pros: atmosphere, service, location, optionsCons: need better quality ingredients in their cocktails (vermouth, rye, mezcal, etc.)They have some really fun recipes. I love that. But how about using a better quality Rye? Charge a couple bucks more. That’s fine. This place loves their allocated bourbon options too. Maybe slightly overpriced, but it is what it is.

Underwhelming and service wasn’t great for a seemingly slow night.

Drinks were really good and I loved the Above and beyond flatbread. The bacon chicken flatbread wasn’t my favorite, but was decent. My favorite drink was the espresso martini, so good! Very pretty place and the staff are very nice. Would definitely come back again and try some of their other drinks.

Great service and delicious soup. They modified a drink for me since I can’t have vodka and it was amazing. Cozy

This place is amazing for their cocktail. Definitely a great place to come during happy hour. The presentation of the drinks is great as well as the customer service and atmosphere of the bar. Would definitely recommend coming here for socializing and hanging out with your friends. Great cocktails here. They have small snack food as well which are good.

My experience at The Broken Cage was, overall, pretty good. The staff was friendly but it took a while to get a table even though the place was nearly empty. My waitress also forgot to put in an appetizer order but eventually comp'd it because it came out as we were needing to leave. She was very apologetic which I appreciated. The drinks were unique and delicious! They have some good happy hour deals so get there early to take advantage. The ambience is great with so many plants everywhere !!

Very disappointed! I had a reservation and we still had to wait for a table. And there's no where to wait which made it uncomfortable for other diners. Our waitress was not super friendly and we waited over 20 minutes for one drink.

I am kind of obsessed with this place and don't come here enough. If you are serious about well made cocktails, this is your place. It is very small and cozy. I suggest schooching your way up to the bar and enjoying a seat there. You will be able to watch the amazing staff make all of the fun cocktails and talk to them about the concept and story behind each. They are kind and friendly and always happy to recommend something that will please your palate. They also have plants all throughout that are beautiful and alive, something I am unable to say about most of my plants at home. BUT they inspire me to have more of a green thumb AND they sell these green creatures, so you can purchase them and take them home. If you need happy hour, a night cap or just want to shoot the shit with a friend for a bit over some yummy sips, this is it!

Easily the best cocktail bar in Denver, from the bartenders to the teal tufted booths. Tried to make Kendra’s New York Sour and Brass Monkey at home, just not as good. Guess we’ll just have to come back.

Went for happy hour and it was a great deal! $8 for many of their specialty cocktails! Fun ambiance with all the plants being available for purchase! Tasty drinks, will def be back to try others! Small cute place and would recommend a reso if coming later on a weekend night!
