I had the Denver omelet with hashbrowns and rye toast. It was good. Nothing was bad, but nothing was amazing either. Service and atmosphere were clean and peaceful.

This place rocks! The menu is extensive and it all sounds amazing, but we finally managed to make our choices for breakfast. We were not disappointed! The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was outstanding. The staff are delightful. And as a bonus, they were extremely helpful when we decided to purchase a painting from the featured artist, Mike Grant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was not to bad the food. It was food, my chicken and little dry. But I want to type about the host. She took it out bill, saying anything. She needs a class to be polity and say “excuse me” or “thanks

I have celiac disease so I have to have food that is gluten free. This restaurant has GF menu items and is very knowledgeable and accommodating about gluten and other allergens. They were so nice about it as well — totally willing to make sure the kitchen took proper protocols when cooking my food, and answered many questions for me. Everything was great and the pancakes tasted like regular pancakes. I’m happy to have found a safe restaurant where I can go. It has a classic diner feel and great breakfast/brunch dishes.Dietary restrictions: Good for gluten-free options.

Wow! Great place! Coffee pot put on table! Best Denver omelet evah!
I am visiting and had the most pleasant experience at The Delectible Egg. Best Gluten Free waffle I have eaten. I only drink black coffee and sometimes it can be very bitter, not at here, it was very smooth, just perfect. Bri was my server and was a delight. Very professional and attentive!Dietary restrictions: Best gluten free waffle I’ve ever eaten.

My boyfriend and I tried to have brunch here around 11am on 3/23. This place is usually pretty busy with a lot of tourist traffic, but the restaurant was only about half full which was a huge red flag at their busiest time of day.We were sat right next to the register up front which was odd for an fairly empty restaurant, but it didn't really bother us. What did bother us was all the staff that was talking to customers, themselves, and other coworkers yet no one came to greet us. After 5 minutes a very nice lady came by and dropped off two glasses of water. A few minutes later I walked up to the register where the hostess and a waitress were talking and I let them know that we hadn't seen anyone and if we had anyone assigned to our table (I know things can get missed and some wait staff can get behind occasionally)? They assured me there was and no attempt was made to let anyone know we were there again we knew this because I was sat next to the register facing the hostess. A few minutes later we left because after about 12 minutes of no recognition there really wasn't a point staying. I let the hostess know what happened and she seemed pretty indifferent about it.I've been going to Delectable Egg restaurants for decades. I've gone to the one on 120th enough that I knew the manager and most of the wait staff before I moved. I moved to Aurora and went to the one on Quebec, great restaurant. The atmosphere at this location is terrible, but it's downtown, what can you expect? Combine it with terrible service and it really doesn't matter how good (usually excellent) the food can be. I've tried this place several times over the past couple of years that I've been in Denver and it's a hard pass from now on. I can walk here in 5 minutes from my house and I'd still rather drive further to a better restaurant. That's sad.
