DONT COME HERE IF YOU’RE TRYING TO WATCH ANY COLORADO AVALANCHE HOCKEY!! Completely oblivious to Colorado sports AND LOCALS. We’ve been going to the Hornet for over 10 years… after the way we were treated tonight we have absolutely NO desire to come back. Disrespectful manager, waitress, staff, and patrons. Walk down the block every other bar has the game on EVERY TV. Also… WHY IS THE FOOD SO EXPENSIVE?! You’re better off going to anywhere else on Broadway.EDIT: As per the reply from the Hornet… saying we were “obnoxious customers” just because we were asking to watch the Avs game in Denver? we were there for 1 drink… we didn’t make a scene. That’s a false accusation. “They were embarrassed for us”? No one was embarrassed for us except for the way you handled the situation. “Specifically the 2 other guests” — that were sitting at the 10 person table for context. When they said they wouldn’t put the game on where we all could see we got our check and left. Simple as.. no one “pouted” we asked kindly and respectfully and y’all were super weird about it. I even tipped 20% :)

This is one of the top 5 restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Consistently the best food and service. The grilled Caesar, honey sting chicken, and lobster Mac gluten free were all incredible. We didn’t get our bartenders name but she was incredible! Every one who works at The Hornet is so on point!

Very nice lil spot cozy fun and really cool inside. I got a burger. It was hot fresh ground beef. Cheese sweet potato fries... I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite in a cozy atmosphere. I'll be back here again

Always my go-to spot for delicious food. When just wanting a quick bite I get the Cuban sandwich, best I have found in Colorado. Also have to highly suggest you try the Caribbean Pork.... We had a delightful lunch at The Hornet. Our server recommended the fish tacos after my couple questions and they were perfect. The avocado toast and gangster wrap also got high marks.The amazing thing is that I forgot my purse and realized it as we arrived at the airport to fly home. Sean delivered it to me at the airport through crazy traffic. The people and the food were far above expectations for a random lunch stop (even before Sean delivered my purse we really enjoyed our server). We will be back next time we’re in Colorado!

Cool spot... I ordered my burger with none of the fixings but came out with everything so had to pull those off.... Ordered my burger with bacon and the green chili pozole... The pozole was pretty watery so not the best as a burger topping but good as a cup of soup or dipping fries in.

Happy hour. Appetizers. Location.I have only been here for happy hours before going to see a movie next door or continuing my day/night on Broadway. But, every time it has been LOVELY! Good quick service without too many “check-ins” making it a great place to talk to a date or friend. The apps on the happy hour menu are universally tasty and substantial.
