I had an amazing time here at walnut room! My 4 brothers and I came down there after an outing. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was very extraordinary, especially for being a late night place! I will definitely recommend this place to other friends and family!

I want to start by saying I absolutely LOVE this place. I have been coming here for 4 years. Today is the first time I have ordered a cocktail and let me tell you.. sub par. Heavy on the mix would be an understatement. I sent an aperol spritz back because it was a deep red color. Next cocktail I ordered was all pineapple juice. Stick to beer and you will be in the clear! Food is fabulous, staff is fabulous! Cocktails… meh

Just sat for 40 minutes with my husband and only received one beer. 0 urgency when they didn't have what we asked for. Pretty upset with this experience. If you only have a hour in time. Save it and go somewhere

I had initially stopped at Improper City to work on my laptop but was starved and they didn't have any food available. The bartender directed me to The Walnut Room and I took the quick 2 min walk with no idea what to expect. It's small and has a local bar feel but their food is different than any bar food I've ever had. The waitress recommended the Thai sweet chili flatbread and again I had no expectations but it was delicious. I also ordered a Paloma and worked away on my laptop for about an hour. It's definitely not the best environment to get work done but it was surprisingly the perfect recommendation and I'll definitely be back with friends next time I'm in Denver. :)
