If you're looking to go out and experience a taste of Denver, Twisted Root is the place to be! From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I was greeted with wonderful and friendly customer service by the bartender(?), owner (a former service member) and his sidekick service dog. I wanted to try the chai tea, but almond milk was the only milk option they had available. I would still love to try that drink the next time around with another milk substitute. Even though the drink I had wasn't my cup of tea, the welcoming environment alone was enough to make me want to come back - and I definitely will! Five thumbs all the way up. Bula!

Super inviting staff and kava! Greg and his team are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and considerate of everyone that comes in. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, between the live music vendors, and kava there’s something for everyone here!

Super chill environment with great tasting Kava and teas! Staff is incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable, I never tried kava until I went here and the Kava-tender helped me pick out a super tasty drink! Not to mention they host live music and have various artists and vendors set up all the time!

You can't go wrong with the livelihood here & they have definitely earned the term "root" in their title - stop by even if you are looking for a solid tea selection or a break from drinking for a night or few. Was thoroughly impressed with this Kava Bar. I'm a kava snob from Florida's St Pete area and cannot say I'm disappointed. Definitely bigger on the inside than it looks. Seems very much for community (what matters to me in a kava bar) and very knowledgeable tender. Might have found our new Kava Home.
Awesome spot, definitely worth checking out! This kava bar serves around 10+ different kava infused drinks, the chai kava is my favorite. The employees and manager are really welcoming, friendly and help you pick a kava drink. Every other Wednesday they host Kanvas and Kava (basically a painting get together!) this shop is right on Broadway and super close to downtown. Had a great time here!

My partner and I just went in for our first time and we’ve never had more of lovely time at a Kava! All the staff was just absolutely incredible, the owner was so friendly!!!. We felt so welcomed and have never had more of a pleasant experience!!! I so so so highly recommend this place! We will absolutely be back :)
