Good was mediocre, even for Americanized Spanish food. The restaurant needs better ventilation. My clothes all smelled of food cooking exhaust when I got home. Yuck.

The food was great (grilled octopus, mushrooms, salad, flan), the drinks outstanding, and the service remarkable. It is tapas pace, so the flow will take some time. We were celebrating an anniversary, and the staff made it so very special.

This was a beautiful spot and the management was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food lacked the capacity to carry the meal all the way home. The ingredients and presentation were both particularly weak. Flavors were wildly out of balance and some of the fresh vegetation even bordered on spoiled. I have to wonder if they know what any of their food tastes like before it reaches the table. To add salt to the wound, the waiter interjected multiple times insisting on various ways that we misunderstood the culture of the food, which was particularly insulting considering our Latin roots and our love of Latin cuisine.Dietary restrictions: The waiter here was unapologetically unhelpful on the topic of food sensitivities, despite our questions.

As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, to not just be charged $6 for an ordinary iced tea, but no free refill was ridiculous. At least put the water and lipton-type tea in a larger glass. There were also 2 automatic gratuities added, including "Union Station Renovation" fee.

The food was fantastic, and the wine pairings were great choices. The space is intimate. The noise level made it hard to hear the information about the wine and food. This the fourth we have eaten at Ultreia, and we enjoy the restaurant and will return.

We always wanted to go, since there aren't many Spanish food places in Denver!I warn you that it is half-reverted or Americanized Spanish food! The potato tortilla is an omelet with chips! My disappointment! The bread with tomato is luckily delicious! Another crazy find was the patatas bravas with eggs! An unconventional mix! I'm not telling you not to go, but just know that they are not 100% Spanish tapas!

I took my girlfriend in for dinner for her birthday. We loved everything about the experience. The veggie soup, trumpet mushrooms, potatoes bravas, Octopus Brussels Sprouts, and ribs were very good. Our waitress was Lara and she was amazing. She lit a candle for the piece of cheesecake she brought out to us.Food was on time and brought out in a great order. Our server was very attentive with wine and checking in on us.

Good service, our bartender was very up to date on the Spanish wine offering and what paired together well, made some good recommendations. The atmosphere is unique and energy of Union Station makes for good people watching. The tapas were tasty, octopus was tender & some authenticity apparent in what they put out. Good spot for a date, will return.

Quaint place. Make reservations. Good brunch and dinner. Dinner was amazing. Great price bottle wine and the had a tasting option where you pick 3 for $35. Small plates but really great taste. We loved everything. Potatoes were so crispy and great flavor it almost tasted like a wing at times. The mushrooms sauce was amazing. Octopus tasted like Lobster. Really great crispy ribs baked great flavor could’ve had a sauce but they were great and the peppers were delicious. I wish they’d take the fat off the back of the ribs. We could’ve skipped on the bread as the sauce wasn’t that great. Other options to try nearby. It was date night so we knew with a bottle of wine we’d be over $100 as a couple but we loved our experience. Great service. Not a big place or big menu so I imagine what u pick and when u come can determine ur rating. If you’re looking for fried chicken or fish or burgers, this is not ur place. I have friends who would not like this place. Could have a bigger menu but again it’s a great place inside the Station: check em out.

This place is small, so I was worried when my wife said she was going to be a half hour late for our reservation. No worries. The bartender was very pleasant, introducing me to some unique gins. The boss and our server were very attentive and the food. We had the Restaurant Week menu and each course was better than the last: all of them superb. We are foodies from NYC, but if I lived in Denver, we would have a new favorite restaurant!

Ambience and service was great, the only problem was the squid - truly. I mentioned this to my server, that it had a VERY bad fishy taste (I am from CA and know bad seafood), he was very polite but defensive and wanted to ensure that it was fresh and shipped in daily. I only took two bites, but within the hour I was puking in a toilet. I am not trying to discourage anyone from going here, it is the risk you take getting seafood in CO. Everything else was fantastic, I just wish the squid since it was bad had been removed from our final bill.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant set inside Union Station! Our server was very pleasant and made great recommendations. We split several plates between four of us and everything was FANTASTIC! We had bacon wrapped dates, gilda, pan con tomate, trio de jamón, setas (a mushroom dish, my fav), papas bravas, and Moroccan spare ribs. Drinks and food were amazing, can’t wait to go back!

We had an incredible experience for my husband's birthday! Our server was very kind and helpful, the drinks were excellent, and the food was unbelievable. We split several dishes between four people and the price was reasonable. We can't wait to go back!
