I don't think the owner of this bar knows that it is ILLEGAL in the state of Colorado to deny free water from the soda gun or tap. You can not charge for bottle of water when a patron has been buying drinks all day. In the state of Colorado you must provide free tap water. It was very obvious I was in need of water after drinking. One bar tender knew the law and gave me a cup of water later I went up for another glass after finishing another vodka redbull and a different bar tender refused, saying they are only allowed to sell bottled water. I don't blame the employee for doing what he was told but the owner can get in trouble for this so I hope he learns something about the law when he looks at this review.

Atmosphere is a 10/10 the patrons are definitely the best part of this place as well as the outdoor area. Service is consistently not good, excluding the door check. Every single time I go to this bar they are consistently rude, so set expectations low. Definitely on the bottom compared to other gay bars I’ve been to. Pun intended.

I am new to Denver and this was one of my first LGBTQ bar stops. I sat down at the bar and the bartender was talking to friends of his I presume. It was early in the evening around 7pm and it was not at all crowded. I waited and after about 10 minutes I politely asked if I could order a drink. He was friendly and served my drink but I closed out my tab (double the price then the next door competitor) and went next door to another establishment where I had a much better and cheaper experience. Maybe it was because I haven't been a local. But nevertheless it left a sour taste in my mouth and I have not been back since. There are plenty of other options in town.

Jae is awesome! Jae was very friendly and inviting, the club is super cool and the vibes are great! My favorite bar in Denver!
Extremely trans friendly in all categories. Thank you for being welcoming and you can tell the staff has been trained in DEI. I wish we would calm down with the smoke machines upstairs though during glow lounge parties.

We were visiting from Minnesota and stopped into X Bar for happy hour. They have a really good two for one happy hour till 8 PM and then you have until 8:30 PM to use your poker chip that they give you for your second drink. They have a new Vendor that took over the restaurant. This vendor also has a food truck are called Que Desmadre. They have a variety of things on the menu from Mexican to hamburgers to chicken strips. My husband had three different tacos. He had the beef tacos, the pork taco and the shrimp taco. He said the beef taco was good, but the shrimp and pork tacos were the best he’s ever had! He said the seasoning was spot on and , the shrimp was properly cooked. I was not able to do a Google review for the restaurant yet because they just started here last Monday and haven’t got all of that figured out with Google yet so instead I decided to do a review on the bar. Bartender Wade was awesome too!!!
