This place takes me back to my childhood. Reminds me of the diner I would go to as a kid with my Grandpa. Nothing fancy, which makes it great, and the food never disappoints. Chicken fried steak and the breakfast burritos are fantastic... Among many other things. The waitlist is super convenient since this is a popular spot.

Very nice local place. Got there while driving through. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the french toast was delicious! Waiters were all friendly and fast. Best thing: their coffee is actually a bit strong! The first coffee that tasted like coffee in my 3 weeks in the US! Loved it!

By far the best breakfast place in Durango and one of the best I've ever been to. Top notch food, service and vibes.

This is a great breakfast spot. It’s smallish and they get busy so make a reservation or get there early!

This is the second time we've eaten here and it was just as good the second time. Very reasonable pricing. Expect a little wait on the busy days as it is a small, intimate dining area. They have a smart phone based wait line and notifications so you can see how long to expect and how many are in front of you. Works very well!!Servers are always sweet and attentive. Pancakes and French toast are EPIC!!! Both are easily as good as Cracker Barrel, if not better. They're are a ton of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu plus your basic breakfast fare. We will definitely be back. The coffee is STRONG so if you are a wimp with your coffee like me, ask for extra cream.Enjoy. It's worth going off the beaten path for this one. (Very, very close to the college).

One of our local go to breakfast spots. Always a good meal, always happy servers. Small, and if you have to wait a bit, it’s worth it!

Delicious breakfast spot, and I was delighted to find they have gluten free pancakes. I had them add blueberries and they were amazing.

The dude with the really appetizing teeth was upset that he got “two 4 dollar tips in a row” and he wanted us to know. Thanks for telling us! We will make sure to never eat at this place again. Ungrateful people. Oscar’s is a million times better.

Very good food, very kind staff, very cramped restaurant. Small menu, too. And if you're picky, don't count on being able to customize certain things.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pancakes are fluffy and yummy!Kid-friendliness: Lots of families dining there.

This place is everything we were looking for that we can’t get in our usual big cities (NYC/MIA/ATL)… all of the items were very good in preparation, portion and flavour…the fluffy and massive and flavour-filled pancakes and REAL maple syrup (try blueberry they’re big-ones), the breakfast burrito with green chilli sauce, and scrambled eggs with a biscuit - all very satisfying and for the price it’s also very fulfilling. The potatoes … ah so good.Coffee is a bit bitter (cowboy-esque) but also part of the charm and goes well with the sweeter items and bread choices.
