Superhumans are real... and living among us. Odd Bird Baking has the MOST delicious, divine, and utterly spectacular morsels this earth has to offer. This bakers superpowers extend into her food, allowing us mortals to experience a brief moment of pure bliss. Lavender blue corn meal scone? DEVOURED. Persian love cake? GULP. I've never trusted someone else with my pies for this holiday, and I might have just found some folks who can save me the the labor of it all in the future. Paired with a cold glass of milk, the room was full of smiles and 'mmm mmm mm' sounds. :)

I grabbed a card and decided to send her an email to see if she could make a special cake for my parent’s 65th Wedding Anniversary Celebration. Oh my gosh! I ordered a cake for my sisters bridal shower and this cake was to die for! I regret not getting a bigger one! The cake was so delicious you want to savor every bite but it’s hard because this magical cake just melts in your mouth. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We purchased pastries from Odd Bird from Still Life Coffee and Botanicals and they were absolutely delicious. We went 4 out of the 5 days we were in town to get coffee and pastries. The lavender scones and shortbread cookies were my favorite...my daughter loved the financiers. If we're ever back in Durango, we will be eating more from this bakery for sure!

what a hidden gem! ordered a cake for my boyfriend's 40th after a quick google search. we had a chocolate stout/miso caramel buttercream/cherry jam cake and she also made a flourless chocolate cake with a passionfruit ganache... unbelievable. everyone was delighted. the presentation was beautiful and the flavors were exquisite. i already look forward to ordering + eating these baked goods in the future...
