We bought one of teas with bee pollen and then went back and got my daughter her own caffeine free tea. I love loose leaf teas. Will definitely be back after they move locations

I stopped in with my sister and mother. We all loved the shop! The decor was so cute and the local and women-owned products are great! We were helped by the most wonderful employee, Gabrielle. She was so kind and knowledgeable. She made great tea suggestions and let us sample the local honeys. She really made our day! We will definitely be back.

My son and I came in before Christmas to buy a gift for a friend.We were greeted by Gabrielle . Gabrielle was merchandising and stopped what she was doing and greeted my son and I with a big smile. I asked her what kinds of tea would be good for relaxing. She was so full of knowledge. I bought several tea sets.We went back again yesterday and she was so happy to see us. We sampled some more delicious teas. I would definitely recommend going in. Thank you Gabrielle, we will see you often with your recommendations of teas.

A really nice experience! Lovely shop but the highlight was the customer service . I believe the person who helped us was named Gabby. She listened to what we were looking for and guided us in the right direction, giving lots of useful info along the way. She also packaged our tea so nicely as it was for a gift. Authentic tea shop in historic Durango. Knowledgeable folk on staff, abundant tastings. As a family of five, cleared out with multiple teas and honeys for two Besides knowledgeable advice and suggestions by bar staff, everything was packed for travel home. Relaxing place to sit and chat too.

We stopped in on 11-20-23 and Gabby was so amazing and sweet! She was helpful and friendly. Helped us out with a tea to try for the day. It was an Apple Crisp. The tea was so good, we came back the next day to get some to take back to Missouri with us! Certainly recommend Old Barrel to visitors and locals! If you haven’t tried them you are missing out! They even have a website so you never have to go without your favorite tea!

Lost my business. I’ve been drinking this tea for over a year, getting regular refills. Went in today and was told they no longer fill my container, the original one Old Barrel provided. They filled a SMALLER container for the same price. And the employees were NOT informed even though my lid had an original label.

I never visit Durango without stopping here! They usually have 4 samples brewed up to try and the staff is so friendly! I highly recommend stopping here being from NM I LOVED the green chili biscochito!!
