I came in when I didn’t even realize they were closing. He was so nice! He made me what I wanted- a Barbadoa Quesadilla and it was fantastic. Good green chile, great meat. I never place reviews but this place was amazing!! I would come back again. And again.
A really good eat in/take out restaurant. They have many coffee specialties but their food to me is the star. I had a Happy Moose Burrito smothered in green chile...so DELICIOUS! It's kind of hidden at the end of a countrified mini mall in Eckert, Colorado called Moose Crossing( 2 big white plywood moose out by the road) where Delirious Liquors is also located. Their menu is on the internet. Enjoy!

Best breakfast burrito around. Fully stocked up on everything, and the waitress was friendly and the place was clean. My son found something he liked. No playground or anything but I wouldn't expect a cafe to be catering to kids. what cafe is really for kids? You go here to eat not play on the table

Check out their health inspection report. Not washing hands... absolutely disgusting. No wonder their food is terrible and you get sick from eating there. Wash your hands and stop serving old food.

The Staff were VERY nice & helped me with a large to go lunch order for an event. They offered suggestions & made everything super fresh per order ~ and labeled each meal ~ so it was SO easy to distribute on site. Each person commented on how great their hot or cold items were. AND they even made us pre-wrapped homemade desserts ~~ that was such a treat! It was a MUCH enjoyed luncheon & I am very grateful to all the staff support! MANY cudos to Happy Moose Cafe!!!!

We just moved into town and my father recommended The Happy Moose Cafe. We've now been there three times, and each time it's been great! My husband and I have tried the burgers, and they did not disappoint! They taste like fresh ground beef hamburgers, nice and juicy with lots of flavor! As you can see in the picture, I tried the pastrami sandwich during this recent visit. The sandwich is served on Texas toast with cheese and thick cut, pan fried pastrami and a pickle on the side. I added mustard. I seriously thought I would be needing a box to take some home, but nope! It was so good, I finished it all Our next visit will be for breakfast, which we're told is fabulous. The staff is very pleasant. Food takes a little longer to get, but it's freshly cooked, so I have no problem waiting for good food. If you live nearby, or are traveling thru, stop by. You won't be disappointed

My new favorite restaurant! Waffles made so good I had to come back the next day to get more. Farm fresh eggs everything about the meal was wonderful. The person I ate with even said it was the best cuppa coffee they’ve had in a very, very long time. The menu and the atmosphere are less impressive, but there’s room for improvement with food. That’s good. The waitress did a great job although I didn’t like paying for my meal ahead of time because I would’ve given her more of a tip. Had I paid before I left, after receiving my food all in all, though will definitely be a frequent customer
So glad we stopped here for lunch. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The menu items range from standards like eggs, bacon, and house potatoes to a turkey melt with green chilies that knocked my socks off. If I had a plane like this at home I would be a regular for sure.

Ate here for the 1st time last night, Friday August 25th. Had a black& Bleu burger & house taters. The overcooked, dry burger should be served open-faced with garnish on the side. Burnt onion strings. A few limp potato slices were sad as a side. My friend asked for bleu cheese for her salad & the cook brought it out & gave to other customers. My friends salad was excellent , maybe I'll try the burritos next time.

Love this place!! Best breakfast in the county. The barbacoa burrito is my favorite. Drinks are always really good too. I like their sweet drinks, but their plain coffee is also good - strong but not bitter.High quality ingredients, delicious recipes, food is always hot and fresh, prices are reasonable. Call ahead for pickup at the drive thru or there’s a quaint seating area there.There’s just a ton of attention to detail to make the food and drinks yummy every time. Like the ham is real ham, not deli ham. Eggs are seasoned well. Dressings and jams are made in house.Oh and try the potatoes, they’re AMAZING
