Saw their menu on line and was excited to try but immediately changed my mind after being served. I had a simple oat milk latte. She asked what size and I said 16oz medium. I also had the blueberry cobbler oatmeal which for some reason I imagined home made but was not. It was a brick in a paper cup that you just add water to. . The coffee was ok. I did get a 16oz but there was only full half way. So you pay for 16oz but you will only get 8oz. That kind of stuff bugs like onions in an no onion burger. I don’t need any more experiences here. I won’t be back. Coffee shops should know that there’s a plethora of competition. Also I asked to use the restroom (one for men one for women). Owners should know the importance of keeping the area clean. It was not. There were “greeters” in the toilet bowl and that’s just nasty ? . One and done.

Was pleasantly surprised by Nixon’s. The staff was friendly and there were comfortable sports to sit and sip or eat.

Always looking for local coffee shops, I just moved to the area and found Nixons. Live music on a Saturday morning creates a nice atmosphere . The iced latte was pretty good, except it wasn’t very cold. Maybe the milk was sitting out on the counter because it was the temperature of a hot coffee that you forgot to drink and left sitting for an hour. I do like the coconut syrup option, it is a fave of mine in a latte. I got an orange scone and was under impressed. It was hard as a rock and super dry. Coming in on a Saturday morning at 9, I would have expected fresh pastries. The flavor was there but just couldn’t enjoy it having to break pieces off without it crumbling apart completely. I probably will give this place another try but nothing special about it in my opinion.

Guess I had bad timing coming for a Dirty Chai when the baristas didn't want to play nice. Didn't find a menu to see what they have. Wanted a Spicy Dirty Chai and received a extremely dry dirty kardamom tasting milk. When I asked for something sweet to put in it I was huffed and puffed by barista saying "I thought you wanted it spicy". Yeah! But not dry. Unfortunate and unpleasant experience.

Great place. Fantastic lattes and americanos and coffee. Nice atmosphere. Nice outdoor seating as well. Always friendly staff. Only complaint is the food. I do not like what I've tried thus far. The Sammie pre-packaged products are yucky. I hope they get some fresh made burritos from a local vendor, like some of the other coffee shops do. To be fair, I have not tried the pastries.

I love this place .. but things have changed .. neighborhood has changed .. lots of homeless hanging out and don't feel comfortable anymore ... will only go to Santa Fe location when in that area. Sorry .. not Nixon's fault, but felt I had to point this out since their was a confrontation with someone on patio (use to love sitting there).

Coffee was great, and I love the banana chocolate bread. Even when it's cold out, this coffee shop is all I need.

Mia was really nice and helpful when I asked a question about how they make their cold brew. Quiet and open in here so a good place to work or read. Great nitro cold brew on draft. They also had a lot of kombuchas available on draft!!

Great coffee and location near a great park, bridge and fountain. Great alternative to Starbucks and super friendly staff here.
