Estes Park. First meal at Estes Park & we loved everything we ordered! The smoked pheasant chowder was delicious, the sauce of the lamb t-bone had a spicy kick to it & the elk striploin was awesome. The potato mousseline complemented the lamb and the elk & the bread pudding was the perfect ending. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

Went here for our anniversary dinner and I can't say I was disappointed. Overall everything was very good and the wait staff phenomenal.I got the Sirloin, which is understandably not a filet, however I would've expected a slightly more tender cut for the price.My wife got the gnocchi which she loved.The cocktails were masterfully prepared.

We had two very good meals during our 48 hr stay in EP - dinner and Sunday brunch. The service was friendly, professional, and never interfered w conversation. The environment was CO casual and comfortable but not, I’m not sure what word to use, not sloppy. It felt like fine dining without the stiffness. Highly recommend!

Every time I come to Estes Park, I eat here. The food is beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere is always lovely and the staff is attentive and so kind. They know how to take care of their guests. During my last visit, I was admiring the art on their gallery wall in the main dining room when, to my surprise, the artist was dining right there. We had a beautiful encounter. The experience just enhanced the already splendid evening we were having. Thank you to everyone at Bird and Jim's for an amazing dinner and to artist DeeDee Hampton for a lovely visit. ❤️

This was the only restaurant close to the park and we got in just before off season closing time of 8pm. GREAT experience. Nice atmosphere, kind owner/manager, fantastic food. Don't be afraid to try things here... we ordered a few different things and it was all delicious!!!

The food was pretty good across the board. The sweet potatoes had a sweet seasoning. The mac and cheese could maybe use a little more flavor. The serving size was very generous.I will note that we waited about 30 minutes to receive our bills and have our cards run, which made for a not as great experience.
