We came in for a quick drink and snack and Brad, our server, all but ignored us even though he only had two tables. There was a couple at the bar that he seemed to think was his entire job. We had to flag him down and ask him for refills, had to ask him multiple times for a chip refill. We should have been a super-easy table with a great tip, but he really fumbled this one.

We ate here in New Years Eve. I had the Hangar Steak and my wife had the Short Ribs. The steak had an excellent sear on it and was cooked medium rare, exactly as ordered. The compound butter was frozen harder than a rock and did not melt on the meat -- I actually struggled to shave part of it off with my steak knife. The broccoli and carrot vegetable medley was made from frozen vegetables and was anemic looking. The mashed potatoes were watery, making me think they'd been over-boiled. My wife's short ribs were supposed to have a sticky Asian sauce but none could be found. The service was great, except when my wife asked for the waiter's opinion on two dishes, she got the useless, "Everything's good" response. The ambience is not great. The place needs some warmth -- a rug on the floor, table cloths, maybe some candles or flowers. Instead, it has all the warmth of a hospital cafeteria. Lastly, the place is expensive. Cocktails were double what you'd expect, however the wine was priced OK and it was a good list.

Right on the tourist strip and usually that is reason for locals to stay away. Their name used to be "The locals ...". A friend from out of town came here and enjoyed it and recommended it. We had good service and good food. Excellent burger, the lobster Mac&Cheese looked standard elbow noodles, but the flavor was really good. Seems like a small place with a full bar with a pretty extensive whiskey selection. Plenty of drink options. We enjoyed our first trip
